Welcome to the english speaking wing of the Gardiens du Lys.

History

Introduction

The Brotherhood of the LYS’ community has the same spirit in Star Citizen as in other games. You are invited to take a look at our webpage for more info about the community. As with the other games, Star Citizen’s organization is independent from the others, but has the same values and principles.

The Brotherhood of the LYS’ objectives

The goal of Gardiens Du LYS is to regroup francophone players of all styles, in a mature and respectful environment. Our members are mostly from Quebec. The Brotherhood of the LYS is the English wing within the GDL Organization. This gives us a place where players who are more comfortable in English can work together within GDL, while not having the usual language barriers that come from speaking different languages.

View

We believe that Star Citizen is a game that will favor large organizations like ours, since political influence, economic and military will be an interesting asset. By aiming for multiple styles (Merchants, Fighters, Explorers…) and types of player (casual or hardcore), the organization will be able to evolve in multiple sectors.

Why start so early?

By beginning the works in the organization early in Star Citizen’s development process, we hope to regroup the most players possible that will fit with our philosophy. Beginning early will allow us in the meantime to optimize our forces so we can have the best leadership as possible for each activity sector. The crowd-founding concept brings us passionate players before the game’s release. So it will be interesting to be able to meet for the different Alpha/beta’s tests stages even for the stages that won’t be online.

Basic rules

It’s too early to have an official chart; all members must adhere to the following.
  • Maturity
  • Respect
  • Honor
  • To have fun
  • Teamwork
