The end of the Messer era meant the beginning of so much more. For the founding generation of the Macross Corporation, the herald of this new era was the call to serve in the UEE Navy. The original members came from all walks of life; Technologists, engineers, artists, and mechanics who all felt that there was something greater they could work towards after their service. For a short while after leaving the service the founders went their separate ways, but they always stayed in contact with each other and the new comrades they met during service. After a few years of freelance work, a plan was set in motion to find a way to utilize all of the members unique talents for a common goal despite the different directions their careers took them. Thus was born the Macross Corporation; A loose collective of freelancers and explorers that operate as a support network and that coordinate for larger operations.

The articles of incorporation were created mostly from the pilot’s seat as the founders defended mining operations on the frontier from pirates and trained those on the fringe and serve as a symbol of the Macross Corporation’s core belief: to be leading from the front and taking action opposed to directing from a boardroom.

After the success of the ad-hoc training given in the frontier, the Macross Corporation opened it’s first in-house training facility on the outskirts of New Austin. This allowed for each employee or customer to receive extensive training in paramilitary operations including advanced piloting and hand-to-hand combat techniques, as well as provided a location for them to hone their skills and develop as consultants and freelance specialists.

As it moves into the future, the company’s primary purpose will always be to stride out among the stars and make new discoveries and provide premium consulting and freelancing services while hiring and training the best well rounded partners who excel in handling the unknown.
