In the wake of the ring gates opening, many went out to seek fortune, adventure and a new beginning. Then one day the rings just closed. All of them, trapping humanity here and there. It took centuries, but humanity found its way back to the starts. The old divisions of Earth, Mars and the Belt were gone. Now united under the United Earth Empire. As they expanded they found jump gates, perhaps some kind of residual connections from the ring gate system. Like the Laconians before, a small group of Martians banded together, we picked up some belters and even a few earthers along the way and made a home. A few generations later the UEE found us, they claimed our system as theirs and rather than fight them we just made ourselves indispensable but very mush independent.
We used our knowledge of the system and talent in collecting intelligence and scouting for the UEE. Now we find ourselves once again in conflict with a new alien threat. Now we offer our considerable services to you. Intersystem Intelligence Collection and Security services. Our founding member Captain Draper honors the old ways of mars. Her many times great aunt Roberta Draper died saving Sol system, now she is here to stand and defend against this new threat and take care of her people.
The Traditions of the Martian Navy live on, one day we will return to Mars and Sol system, to claim our birthright.
