History

While exploring the deep throes of the Caliban system in 2799, Rodney Dean and his crew were attacked by a Vanduul clan and Murphy’s flagship, along with several other craft were all but wiped out. They called for assistance, but their closest ally was systems away. As the remaining members of Dean’s crew were left stranded in deep space, many fatally wounded and running out of oxygen, laying around waiting to die.. He told them that if he managed to make it out of there alive, he would dedicate his remaining life to making Murphy stronger than ever, so that it’s members and mission were never at such a risk again.

Luckily, the rescue teams came in time to save the few left alive: Lieutenant Commander Elijah Dean, First Officer Mick Bogdan, Ensign Bjorn Prestrud, and science officer Cillian Wyrm. Rodney unfortunately died just before help arrived.
After getting settled back home, among the realization that either something big needed to be done, or Murphy would go bankrupt, Elijah decided to honor his father’s dying desire by creating a fully self sufficient enterprise, so that they were never left helpless again. On this day, in 2799, Murphy Defense was founded, and included alongside Murphy Interstellar under the banner of Murphy Enterprises.

Operations

Primary Mission:

Our primary mission at Murphy Defense is to provide our organization, it’s members, and our partnered organizations the highest quality and most dependable protection that money can buy. Others will do it cheaper, but will they guarantee your safety? We do, or your money back.

Secondary Missions:

The aid and support of other players and organizations for profit in times of peace, by offering our private defense services. Including, but not limited to: private security, bounty hunting, mercenary work, or search & rescue missions.

Mission Statement

Are you itching to take on any and all threats in the verse, known or unknown? Whether in space or on the ground, no matter how dangerous the situation.. At Murphy Defense, you’ll have the opportunity to protect the organization and it’s allies on all fronts.  Those in the Murphy Defense are not only the warriors of the fleet, but the strategists and often leaders. Tactically aligned personnel will make up weapons experts, ship, ground and vehicle security forces, fighter pilots, squad leaders, and other roles for those who have a mindset for smoothing out the daily chaos of galactic affairs.

Roleplay

Murphy Enterprises is primarily a roleplay org, but can always operate in a casual, relaxed settings.
If you would like to play multiple characters in the verse, we recommend having multiple accounts, each with their own bio.
