History

Messier Galactic was created in the ideal that space is the next great frontier, and as we push evermore into the void of the unknown, you can be sure we will be there to profit from it.

Years of smart investing with local corporations and Private Military’s alike has been the backbone of Messier’s business plan, and has allowed it to become one of the most desirable Corporations to work for. We specialize in the acquisition of rare resources for use primarily in weapons research and development, but we definitely don’t stop there. Messier’s team of trained professionals make it their business to procure a solid future for the company.

Starting back in 2943 Chief Executive Officer Lord Diabetes made it his dream to profit from the stars, and to gain power through wealth and ingenuity. Starting with only a small million credit loan from his father, he has built Messier Galactic on the ideals of age old comet hunter Charles Messier who’s ideology resonates through the company to this very day. He is very much a self made man, who’s vast intellect allows him to shoot for the stars, and get them for everything they are worth.

Moving forwards into the future Messier Galactic will be sure to retain positive relations with as many money making ventures as possible, gaining access to exclusive information, and dedicated military forces, as well as the fastest most reliable transportation services available.

Manifesto

Messier Galactic Solutions™ relies on the support of military factions, and as such maintains positive relations with a large variety of PMC’s and even certain confidential contractors. We pride ourselves on maintaining discretion and security for all employees, be they internal employees, external contractors, or members of an affiliate. As the nature of our business is highly confidential employees must undergo certain grace periods in which they are hired on as external contractors, all to limit the liability they pose to the company.

EMPLOYEE RIGHTS

  • All employees of Messier Galactic are given the following rights
    • Right to speak your mind, as long as it is productive. This does not allow you to bash superiors simply because you don’t agree
    • Right to acquire resources in MGS space
    • Right of safe passage through any MGS affiliate space
    • Right to fair promotion and ethical treatment
  • Employee benefits1
    • Free Medical treatment, either from one of our internal doctors, an affiliate, or reimbursement from a registered medical center
    • If you are taken captive rescue will be swift and guaranteed
    • Safety from external threats such as pirates
    • Access to military support when requested2
    • Free repairs and maintenance
    • Free ship upgrades

All employees are granted the same rights regardless of position within the company, as such higher ranking employees will gain certain supports on a seniority bases, followed by first come first serve. Messier Galactic reserves the right to suspend any and all of these rights, following disciplinary action.

1 If the employee is still on a grace period, many of these will apply to situations only occurred during working hours. After a grace period the employee will have access to all of the rights regardless of where or when infractions occured

2 Request must be granted by at the very least a Director, if no Directors are available, in rare cases an Assistant Manager or Manager may be able to help

Charter

Messier Galactic Solutions prides itself on maintaining positive business relations throughout the verse, and as such has a few simple rules that must be adhered to by contractual employees:

1. Combat situations are to be avoided by any personnel contracted by MGS unless they meet the following criteria;

  • Engagement conditions1
    • You are attacked first, and are not currently more valuable than your target ie. not full of expensive resources
    • You are contracted as an enforcer and someone has encroached on a valuable asset currently in the possession of MGS officials
    • You are completely unable to avoid the combat situation
2. Membership with other organizations is allowed as long as the other organizations are not;
  • A direct competitor of MGS2
  • Hostile toward MGS or any of our affiliates
3. Messier Galactic’s contract pay is based upon resource acquisition and weapons development, both positions will be externally contracted, and payment will be dependent upon produced goods, and expenses such as;
  • Fuel
  • Repairs
  • Upgrades3
4. Any employee of Messier Galactic may not;
  • Publicly discuss business practices be it with other employees or not
  • Berate or harass any other employee, or contractor
  • Gain advancement through unlawful means4
  • Use their standing within the company to gain knowledge and sell it to a third party

Messier Galactic Solutions reserves the right to terminate any contracted employee who does not adhere to these simple guidelines.

1 All combat situations are to be logged and reported to a superior regardless of whether or not they fall within regulations, any employee caught not following protocol will be terminated

2 This applies to any organization with similar goals as MGS, who is not a direct ally

3 Upgrades will only be paid for depending on position within the company, and work ethic

4 We are not against doing what needs to be done, unless the infraction is committed against another employee of MGS or one of its affiliates
