History
Stemming from deeply rooted qualities of human nature, like lazyness, jackassery and pure and unbrideled lack of anything better to do, MiSeRupia has developed naturally in the relative safety of the Sol system, only to emerge and slowly spread across the know universe, sausage by sausage. By sausage!
Manifesto
In the last few decades MiSeRupia has come to be seen as a duty… no, a divine calling, to the vast majority of it’s practicants. It’s name originates from an ancient pagan chant in times of adversity: “Mi se rupe!”, which historians have roughly translated from an old language derivative of latin as “mine breaks”. Modern day miserupians straightfacedly claim that this chant refers to the old times of the Great Schism between MiSeRupism and it’s sister faith MiSeFalfaism, a far less zealous, but equally spread counterpart.
Some more indoctrinated miserupians even claim that, with the propper scanning modules, you can still pick up faint echoes of The Makers within their Cloud Imperium, chanting “Mi se rupe!” together.
