Anchored by the Privateer mobile market. Powered by the Pioneers extracting rare resources. Defended by the Fortune Guard. We fly the frontier to find wealth, build the armor to protect it, and run the markets to grow it. Anyone is welcome to trade—but none survive breaking our peace.
HISTORY // THE MONOPOLY IN THE BLACK
ORIGIN: THE 2951 ACQUISITIONS
Merchants of Fortune was forged in 2951. We didn’t start with corporate grants, high-sec subsidies, or a silver spoon. We started in the lawless fringes of the frontier with a handful of battered hulls, a sharp eye for market inefficiencies, and a single, unyielding prime directive: Extract wealth from the black, by any means necessary. What began as a cutthroat salvage and trading collective quickly evolved. As the corporate conglomerates grew soft in high-security space, we dug our boots into the rim systems, claiming the high-risk, high-reward resource sectors others were too timid to touch.
“Wealth isn’t given; it is extracted from stone, salvaged from wreckage, and defended with steel.”
THE THREE PILLARS: INDUSTRIAL EVOLUTION
To survive the frontier, pragmatism replaced ambition. We realized a trading empire is only as strong as its logistics and its guns. We stripped away the corporate bureaucracy and organized our operations into three lethal, hyper-focused divisions:
THE MERCHANTS: The economic heartbeat. Operating out of our mobile capital hubs, they master bulk commerce, manipulate frontier supply lines, and turn raw raw materials into pure, liquid profit.
THE PIONEERS: The heavy lifters. Armed with specialized industrial hulls, they spearhead deep-space extraction, stripped-hull salvage operations, and the acquisition of rare commodities.
THE FORTUNE GUARD: The steel screen. A highly disciplined, heavily armed security wing tasked with a singular objective—ensuring that MOF operations, assets, and clients remain completely untouchable.
THE MODERNDAY BLUEPRINT: THE KRAKEN ALLIANCE
Today, Merchants of Fortune operates as a dominant vertical monopoly. At the apex of our fleet sits the Kraken Privateer, a mobile fortress and sovereign marketplace that brings the economy of the core worlds directly to the edge of the rim.
We don’t answer to the advocacy, and we don’t bow to pirate warlords. We operate on a code of strict neutrality and absolute enforcement. Our history is written in matte black iron, steel grey determination, and the forged gold of our vaults.
Join us, and forge your own fortune.
THE THREE PILLARS OF OPERATION
To establish a dominant vertical monopoly on the frontier, the Merchants of Fortune operates on absolute structural pragmatism. We have eliminated corporate bureaucracy and organized our personnel into three highly specialized, deeply integrated divisions. Every member plays a vital role in feeding the ledger, protecting the asset, and scaling our economic footprint.
I. THE MERCHANTS // COMMERCE & LOGISTICS
The economic heartbeat of the organization. Operating directly from the deck of our Kraken Privateer mobile flagship and bulk transport fleets, this division commands the marketplace.
Focus: Market analysis, bulk cargo hauling, supply chain management, and flight deck customs.
Objective: Turn raw materials into liquid profit, stock the mobile hubs, and dominate frontier trade routes.
II. THE PIONEERS // ACQUISITIONS & EXTRACTION
The heavy lifters who feed the engine. The Pioneers are deployed into high-risk, high-reward sectors to strip wealth directly from the black before the corporate conglomerates or pirate factions can touch it.
Focus: Deep-space scouting, heavy mining operations (MOLE / MOTH), and structural salvage (Reclaimer / Vulture).
Objective: Secure a constant, independent supply of raw commodities to fuel our internal marketplace.
III. THE FORTUNE GUARD // MILITARY & SECURITY
The steel screen that guarantees our sovereignty. The Fortune Guard enforces absolute peace within our market grid, ensuring that our operations, logistics lines, and clients remain completely untouchable.
Focus: Heavy fighter escorts, turret gunning, dropship logistics, and close-quarters FPS marine security.
Objective: Neutralize threats with overwhelming force, defend organizational assets, and enforce strict market neutrality.
“The Pioneers extract the wealth. The Guard defends the grid. The Merchants run the market. Together, we are an unbreakable monopoly.”
CODE OF THE MONOPOLY
By order of the Office of the Director, all members of Merchants of Fortune [MOFORG] shall strictly adhere to the following bylaws. Operating on the frontier requires absolute discipline, high operational efficiency, and unwavering loyalty to the ledger.
Failure to respect the Charter will result in immediate contract termination and asset forfeiture.
ARTICLE I // OPERATIONAL PRAGMATISM
The Right Tool: Members must always prioritize efficiency over pride. Utilize the appropriate ship hull, the heaviest armor, and the correct weapon system for the task at hand.
Asset Protection: A destroyed hull is a loss on the ledger. Members are expected to protect organization assets—especially the Kraken Privateer flagship and heavy industrial multi-crew vessels—above individual glory.
Chain of Command: During active fleet operations, the commanding officer’s directives are absolute. Clear communication channels and strict flight deck discipline are mandatory.
ARTICLE II // THE MARKET GRID & NEUTRALITY
Enforced Peace: The Kraken Privateer operates as a neutral marketplace to maximize trade across the rim. Members shall not engage in unprovoked hostilities within the designated market grid or local operational sectors.
The Retaliation Clause: We do not start fights, but we finish them. If an asset, member, or paying client within our grid is fired upon, all available Fortune Guard elements are authorized to respond with overwhelming, lethal force until the threat is completely erased.
Contraband and Fencing: All resource acquisitions, whether legally mined, salvaged, or recovered through frontier operations, must be logged and processed through internal organizational channels to maximize corporate profit splits.
ARTICLE III // REVENUE & THE LEDGER
Pull Your Weight: Every member must actively contribute to the vertical monopoly. Whether flying an escort screen, burning a salvage beam, or coordinating hangar bays, your cut is directly tied to your operational output.
The Fair Split: Group operation payouts will be calculated and distributed fairly based on role responsibility, hull risk, and material contribution. Greed or withholding cargo data from the Quartermaster is an offense against the entire fleet.
“We fly the frontier to find fortune, forge the armor to protect it, and operate the markets to grow it. Stand together, secure the profit, protect the peace.”
