After the United Earth Empire and the Xi’An signed the Peace Treaty of 2789, opportunities for exploration and business beyond the borders of UEE space became an irresistible draw for many entrepreneurs throughout human civilization. Our Founder was among them.

At age 23, Salachar Cael founded Meridian Exploration, Inc. With his sights fixed upon the stars, and a drive and passion for discovery, Salachar, along with long-time friend Matthew Oren, began their first steps into unexplored space. Despite a few interesting discoveries, what they mostly discovered were other explorers…or what was left of their failed exploration attempts.

Undaunted by the heavy competition, and seizing upon the emerging opportunities, they expanded their business in 2811 to include salvage operations and thus Meridian Universal Salvage & Exploration was born.

Company Expansion: 2877

After years of financial status quo, Logan Cael, grandson of the founder, made the decision to expand the company’s services into shipping and exports.

Unable to find an investor within the UEE, and against the advice of his financial advisors, Logan instead sought out a rather unlikely source of investment. With the aid of a few contacts in the Xi’An Empire, he set a course for the Tal system to meet his, hopeful, new investor. It was considered a fool’s errand, yet when he returned he had not only secured a substantial investment, but also a lucrative trade agreement for regular transport of terraforming equipment and supplies to the developing Hadur system.

The income and opportunities brought in with Shipping and Exports propelled the company into the next century.

Today

Over the past 14 decades, Meridian Universal Salvage & Exploration has stayed true to our founder’s vision of expanding our opportunities in the midst of an ever changing universe. Having only recently been named CEO of Meridian Universal, Solas Cael, great-great grandson of founder Salachar Cael, is already expanding business opportunities with the introduction of Information Running services beginning in 2945.

Solas continues to carry on the family-legacy to operate the company with a drive and passion for discovery and a job well-done.
