History

FRIENDLYFIRESYNDICATE
A History of Chaos, Loyalty & Questionable Decisions

Founded: 2956 — Stanton System

Every organization has a beginning.

Some are born from military contracts. Others rise from corporate ambition, political movements, or the criminal underworld.

FriendlyFireSyndicate was born because a group of Citizens got together, started flying ships, and discovered that apparently nobody had thought to give them adult supervision.

What began as a small collection of pilots and friends operating throughout Stanton quickly became something more. Missions turned into adventures, adventures turned into friendships, and friendships turned into an organization built around one simple philosophy:

Fly together. Have fun. Watch your six… and maybe don’t stand in front of the guns.

THE EARLY DAYS

The Syndicate began its operations in the Stanton system, a region where corporate interests, independent operators, traders, mercenaries, miners, explorers, and opportunists constantly compete for their place among the stars.

Rather than trying to become another rigid military organization, FriendlyFireSyndicate chose a different path.

We would be a home for people who simply wanted to enjoy the ‘verse with good people.

Cargo runs became impromptu combat missions.

Mining expeditions became rescue operations.

Exploration trips somehow became bar crawls.

And “one quick mission” became a six-hour adventure nobody could properly explain afterward.

The name FriendlyFireSyndicate eventually became more than a joke.

It became a badge of honor.

THE SYNDICATE GROWS

As word spread, more Citizens joined the ranks.

Pilots brought fighters.

Haulers brought cargo.

Miners brought resources.

Explorers brought stories.

And occasionally someone brought a ship they absolutely should not have been trusted with.

The organization began developing a reputation for being welcoming, unpredictable, and fiercely loyal to its members.

FriendlyFireSyndicate wasn’t interested in demanding perfection.

We wanted people who were willing to learn, participate, laugh at their mistakes, and help the person flying beside them.

THE RESTRUCTURE

As the Syndicate continued to grow, its leadership recognized that the organization had the potential to become something much greater.

A restructuring was initiated with a new goal:

Build FriendlyFireSyndicate into a lasting Star Citizen community.

The organization would no longer simply be a group of players flying together.

It would become a family.

A place where veterans could teach new Citizens, where experienced pilots could lead operations, and where everyone could contribute regardless of their preferred profession.

Combat, cargo, mining, salvage, exploration, racing, events, security, and whatever other opportunities the ‘verse provides would all have a place within the Syndicate.

OUR REPUTATION

FriendlyFireSyndicate has never claimed to be the most disciplined organization in the galaxy.

We aren’t always the quietest.

We aren’t always the most professional.

And our definition of “strategic formation” occasionally resembles several ships trying to occupy the same piece of space.

But when things go wrong, we stick together.

When one member needs help, someone answers.

When an opportunity appears, we chase it.

And when everything goes completely sideways…

Well, that’s usually when the fun begins.

THE FUTURE

The story of FriendlyFireSyndicate is far from finished.

Stanton is only the beginning.

As the ‘verse expands, so will the Syndicate.

New systems will be explored.

New friendships will be forged.

New enemies will undoubtedly be made.

And countless new stories will be written by the Citizens who choose to fly under the FriendlyFireSyndicate banner.

We don’t know where the journey will take us.

But we know one thing:

We intend to have a damn good time getting there.

FRIENDLYFIRESYNDICATE

Fly Together. Laugh Together. Survive Together.

And remember…

The fire is friendly. The explosions are not.

Manifesto

THE FRIENDLYFIRESYNDICATE MANIFESTO

We are FriendlyFireSyndicate — a collective of pilots, adventurers, traders, mercenaries, miners, salvagers, explorers, and professional button-pushers who believe the ‘verse is better when experienced together.

We are not here to be the biggest organization in the galaxy.

We’re here to be one of the best damn crews in it.

Our intention is simple: build a community where people can have fun, make friends, pursue their own ambitions, and still have someone watching their six when things inevitably go sideways.

OUR MOTIVES

We believe every member should have the freedom to play the game their way.

Want to haul cargo? Haul it.
Want to mine asteroids? Mine them.
Want to explore the unknown? Go for it.
Want to blow things up? Please aim away from the rest of us.

FriendlyFireSyndicate supports a wide range of careers and playstyles. We encourage members to learn from one another, work together, and build something larger than what any single pilot could accomplish alone.

OUR VIEWS

Loyalty matters.

Ships can be replaced. Credits can be earned again. Cargo can be lost.

Good people are harder to find.

We value teamwork, respect, reliability, humor, and the willingness to lend a hand when another member needs it.

We don’t expect perfection.

We do expect you to occasionally admit that yes, that explosion was probably your fault.

OUR PURPOSE

FriendlyFireSyndicate exists to create a lasting community in the ‘verse — one built on friendship, cooperation, adventure, and a healthy tolerance for questionable decision-making.

We will grow together.

We will learn together.

We will celebrate victories together.

And when everything goes catastrophically wrong, we’ll probably laugh about it later.

Our members are encouraged to take initiative, develop their skills, lead when they’re ready, and help those just getting started.

OUR PROMISE

We will strive to create an organization where every member has a place.

Whether you’re flying a fighter, commanding a capital ship, running cargo, operating a mining laser, exploring distant systems, salvaging someone’s unfortunate life choices, or simply hanging out with the crew — you are part of the Syndicate.

We don’t just want pilots.

We want people.

OUR FUTURE

The ‘verse is enormous, dangerous, and full of opportunities.

FriendlyFireSyndicate intends to explore it all.

We will build our reputation through teamwork, expand our operations through cooperation, and create stories worth remembering.

We may not always know exactly where we’re going.

But we’ll get there together.

And if we don’t…

Someone probably forgot to put fuel in the ship.

FRIENDLYFIRESYNDICATE

Fly Together. Fight Together. Laugh Together.

The fire is friendly. The explosions are negotiable.

Charter

FRIENDLYFIRESYNDICATE
PUBLIC RULES & GUIDELINES

Welcome to FriendlyFireSyndicate — where the drinks are questionable, the plans are questionable, and occasionally the pilot is questionable.

We’re not here to run a military boot camp. We’re here to build a solid community, fly some ships, make some friends, and have a damn good time doing it.

That said, a little structure keeps the chaos fun instead of turning it into a crime scene.

1. RESPECT THE CREW

Treat your fellow members with respect.

We’re all here to have fun, and everyone’s going to have different personalities, opinions, and playstyles.

Trash talk? Sure. Good-natured ribbing? Absolutely.

Being a genuine asshole? That’s where we draw the line.

2. HELP EACH OTHER OUT

If you see a fellow member struggling, lend a hand when you can.

New player stuck in space?

Help them.

Someone doesn’t know how something works?

Show them.

Someone accidentally parked their ship inside a building?

…Take a picture first, then help them.

3. PLAY YOUR WAY

You don’t have to be a hardcore combat pilot to belong here.

Mine rocks.
Haul cargo.
Explore.
Salvage.
Trade.
Fight.
Race.
Run security.
Or spend six hours customizing your ship and accomplish absolutely nothing.

If you’re having fun, you’re doing it right.

4. FRIENDLY FIRE IS… FRIENDLY

Mistakes happen.

Ships are big.

Guns are loud.

Cockpits are confusing.

If you accidentally turn your buddy into space dust, own it, apologize, and maybe buy them a drink.

Just don’t make a habit of it.

We’re FriendlyFireSyndicate, not “MurderYourFriendsSyndicate.”

5. ORG EVENTS

We encourage everyone to participate in org events and operations, but nobody is expected to attend everything.

If you’re joining an organized operation, try to follow the plan and listen to whoever is leading it.

Of course, plans are more like strong suggestions once the shooting starts.

Adapt. Communicate. Have fun.

And if the plan completely falls apart?

Congratulations. It’s now an adventure.

6. DON’T BE A DRAMA GENERATOR

Disagreements happen.

If something bothers you, talk it out or bring it to leadership before it turns into a 47-message argument in Discord.

We’d rather solve problems than watch people throw digital chairs at each other.

The ‘verse has enough explosions already.

7. REPRESENT THE ORG

When you’re flying under the FriendlyFireSyndicate banner, use a little common sense.

You don’t have to act like a corporate executive.

Just don’t intentionally do things that make the entire organization look bad.

We’re trying to build a reputation here.

Preferably one that doesn’t involve bounty hunters.

8. NEW MEMBERS ARE WELCOME

Everyone starts somewhere.

Don’t give new players grief for not knowing something.

Help them learn, get them involved, and show them the ropes.

Remember:

Every veteran pilot was once the guy asking which button makes the ship go.

Some of us still are.

9. REAL LIFE COMES FIRST

Nobody expects you to live in the ‘verse.

Work, family, school, sleep, and real-life responsibilities come first.

If you’re gone for a while, don’t worry about it.

Your ship will still be waiting for you.

Probably.

10. LEADERSHIP & COMMON SENSE

Leadership is here to help keep things organized, settle disputes, coordinate events, and keep the Syndicate moving in the right direction.

We’re not interested in unnecessary bureaucracy.

Nobody wants to fill out Form 27-B just to go mining.

Use common sense, communicate, and give people the benefit of the doubt.

11. DON’T STEAL FROM THE CREW

Borrowing something with permission?

Absolutely.

“Borrowing” something without permission and selling it?

Yeah… let’s not do that.

Respect other members’ ships, cargo, equipment, and property.

12. HAVE FUN

This is the big one.

We’re here to play a game.

Make friends.

Build a community.

Fly cool ships.

Do ridiculous things.

Make questionable decisions.

And hopefully survive most of them.

Don’t take the game so seriously that you forget to enjoy it.

THE GOLDEN RULE

Don’t be an asshole.

Respect your crew.

Help when you can.

Use common sense.

Don’t intentionally ruin someone else’s fun.

And when everything goes horribly wrong…

Laugh about it, learn from it, and do it better next time.

FRIENDLYFIRESYNDICATE

Fly Together. Fight Together. Laugh Together.

The fire is friendly.

The explosions are probably your fault.
