History of J.M.E.
J.M.E. began as a small independent crew working the busy skies around Orison. Its early members came from different trades—miners, salvage hands, builders, and pilots—but shared a simple view: honest work should support people, not draw them into needless conflict.
The crew took jobs other operators overlooked: surveying rough claims, recovering usable parts from damaged ships, and repairing equipment far from a comfortable workshop. When disputes or danger arose, J.M.E. aimed to settle matters through communication, negotiation, or a safe withdrawal. The crew would fight to protect people under immediate threat, but never for the sake of starting a battle.
Over time, J.M.E. grew into an organization known for its practical skills and dependable crews. Its members learned to work together across the full cycle of a job: find resources, extract them, recover what others leave behind, and use those materials to repair or build. The organization’s reputation rests less on grand victories than on crews returning safely and leaving a place in better shape than they found it.
Orison remains central to J.M.E.’s identity. The city’s platforms represent both opportunity and hard work: a home built high above Crusader’s deep atmosphere, sustained by careful engineering, supply runs, and people willing to take on difficult jobs. The history of conflict in the area also shaped J.M.E.’s defensive principles: protect the crew, protect civilians, and end danger as soon as it is safe to do so.

Manifesto

J.M.E is an organization for players who want to build something together in Star Citizen. We believe every crew member has something to contribute, whether they’re flying their first ship, learning a new trade, or leading a complex operation.
We’re here to explore, work, help one another, and make our own stories across the stars. We value teamwork over ego, patience over pressure, and shared success over going it alone.
A place to begin
New to Star Citizen? You belong here.
You don’t need a large ship, specialist equipment, or years of experience to join in. Ask questions, learn from others, and try different activities until you find what you enjoy. Every expert started somewhere, and every operation is stronger when people are willing to teach and learn.
Play at your own pace. Real life comes first. When you’re ready to join a crew, J.M.E will help you find a way to take part.
Work worth doing
We support many paths through the ‘verse:
- Salvaging: Recover materials and useful parts from ships and wrecks, and turn lost resources into new opportunities.
- Mining: Find and extract valuable resources, then help move them through refining, trade, and industry.
- Building and industry: Gather the supplies, skills, and coordination needed to support construction and future development.
- Missions: Team up for contracts, rescue work, exploration, combat, and other challenges.
- Hauling and logistics: Move people, cargo, and equipment where they’re needed.
- Security and combat: Protect crews, cargo, and operations in dangerous space.
- Support roles: Repair ships, provide medical aid, scout routes, manage resources, coordinate crews, and lend a hand wherever needed.
These roles depend on one another. A miner’s haul can supply an industrial effort. A hauler can keep a crew moving. A scout can make a mission safer. A new player can become tomorrow’s specialist.
How we work together
We aim to treat fellow members with respect, share knowledge freely, and make room for different play styles. We communicate, plan when it helps, and adapt when the ‘verse has other ideas. We recognize the effort behind every role, including the quiet work that keeps an operation running.
J.M.E is strongest when people can trust their crew. We show up when we can, contribute what we’re able, and help others have a good time.
Our promise
We will keep learning, keep exploring, and keep building together. We will welcome new players, respect one another, and make every contribution count.

Charter

1. Keep the peace. Use communication and de-escalation first. Avoid starting fights or provoking other crews.
2. Defend, don’t hunt. Fight only to protect J.M.E. members, clients, or civilians from an immediate threat. Disengage when it is safe.
3. Respect claims and property. Don’t steal another crew’s claim, cargo, salvage, or equipment. Ask before taking what isn’t yours.
4. Work safely as a crew. Share the plan, assign roles, watch for hazards, and don’t leave a teammate behind.
5. Keep your word. Honor agreed contracts, pay, and mission terms. If plans change, tell the crew and client promptly.
6. Treat people with respect. No harassment, slurs, or personal attacks. Settle disagreements calmly or involve an organization lead.
7. Protect the organization’s reputation. Don’t impersonate J.M.E. members or make promises on behalf of the organization without authorization.
8. Leave places better than you found them. Secure work sites, recover useful materials responsibly, and avoid needless damage.
9. Follow game and event rules. Respect server, community, and event guidelines. Report serious issues to a J.M.E. lead.
10. Real life comes first. Participation is welcome, but members should communicate when they can’t make an operation. No one is pressured to play.
