Discord
The Nonconformist Circle was born from the ideals of historical freethinkers and philosophers who challenged the conventions of their time, seeking to promote a life guided by individual freedom, creative expression, and non-hierarchical collaboration.
Origins:
The Circle draws inspiration from the 17th and 18th centuries, where Enlightenment thinkers such as John Locke and Jean-Jacques Rousseau emphasized individual liberty and the social contract. However, the group went further in rejecting rigid societal structures, embracing ideas from the Existentialists like Jean-Paul Sartre and Simone de Beauvoir, who championed the idea that individuals are free to create their own purpose and meaning, unconstrained by tradition or authority.
Philosophical Influence:
Key influences include Henry David Thoreau, whose essay Civil Disobedience inspired the Circle’s rule of rejecting conformity and promoting nonviolent rebellion against oppressive systems. Friedrich Nietzsche’s declaration of the “will to power” and rejection of herd mentality is reflected in the Circle’s drive for self-expression and the rejection of imposed moral structures.
Modern Development:
During the 20th century, the ideas of Emma Goldman, an anarchist who advocated for free speech and self-determination, further shaped the Circle’s philosophy. The rise of counterculture movements and their embrace of personal freedom and anti-authoritarianism provided fertile ground for the group’s formation in the virtual world. It embraced the ethos of the Situationists and postmodernists, advocating for breaking down established norms and building a society based on spontaneity, creativity, and collaboration.
The Nonconformist Circle today in the 28th century exists as a sanctuary for those who reject conformity in all forms, celebrating the wisdom of the past while always pushing toward new, freer futures.
We are the Nonconformist Circle
In a world bound by rules and limitations, we stand for freedom, creativity, and individuality. We reject the structures that confine us, the hierarchies that divide us, and the authorities that seek to define us. Our manifesto is a declaration of independence from conformity and a call to embrace a new way of being – one where every person can be their truest self.
Our Purpose
We exist to inspire, to challenge, and to create. The Nonconformist Circle is not just an organization; it’s a movement, a way of life, and a vision of what the world can be when individuals are truly free. Our purpose is to explore, to express, and to shape a future that belongs to everyone.

Are you a Nonconformist, then join us
Create your own path. No bosses, no rulebooks. Just shared vision and respect. We believe in creating without boundaries, exploring new ideas, and building a future where every voice is heard and celebrated.
Freedom is Paramount
We believe that true progress comes from unrestricted freedom. We are free to act, create, and express ourselves without rigid systems holding us down. There is no single path, no rulebook, and no authoritative hierarchy here. Our collective thrives because every member is given the space to be authentic, to share, to collaborate. Freedom, for us, is not negotiable.
Freedom of Expression
We recognize that creativity and diversity are born out of freedom. Everyone is encouraged to express their ideas, emotions, and visions in any way that does not harm others. Whether through art, dialogue, or action, we celebrate the infinite ways humans can communicate their uniqueness. Expression is power, and it’s a right we protect fiercely.
Rejection of Conformity
We reject the notion that there is one right way to live, create, or exist. We embrace the diversity of thoughts, identities, and approaches. By tearing down the walls of conformity, we free ourselves from the stagnation of repetition. To question is to grow; to challenge is to evolve. We do not follow trends—we create our own.
Collaboration Without Authority
In the Nonconformist Circle, collaboration is the heart of everything we do. There are no bosses here. Instead, we are equals, choosing to work together to create, explore, and improve. Through mutual respect and shared goals, we achieve more than any hierarchical structure could ever allow. Every voice matters, and every idea is worth exploring.
Harm to None
Though we reject control and hierarchy, we believe in the principle of non-harm. Freedom without responsibility is chaos, and we reject the idea that one person’s freedom should come at the expense of another’s well-being. We seek to build a world where freedom uplifts, where expression connects, and where collaboration inspires.
The Circle is Ever-Evolving
We are not static. We are always evolving, learning, and growing. The Nonconformist Circle is an open circle—we welcome new perspectives, ideas, and approaches. What we are today is only a glimpse of what we will be tomorrow. As long as we uphold freedom and respect, the possibilities are endless.
