History

In the vast expanse of the Star Citizen universe, a motley crew of pioneers and adventurers came together, drawn by their shared love for the stars and the promise of boundless opportunities among the nebulae. They were known as the “Voyagers of the Nebulae,” and their story began with a vision for privateering, exploration and building a home in the stars.

Each member plays an integral role in the organisation, whether it be through more relaxed gameplay styles in mining, hauling or salvage to the more intense combat loops.

Whatever the endeavour, our Banu Merchantman functions as the mobile base, providing the team with a stable income and a vital means of large scale transportation.

If you’ve been invited here, it’s a personal invitation to join a group of casual gamers looking to have fun together and enjoy a good time. We typically also hang out on discord.

Star Citizen is a Game

First and foremost, we all live real lives and we acknowledge that Star Citizen is just a video game that is something we can play to blow off steam.
We respect the way in which our organisation members wish to conduct themselves to enjoy the game and make the most of their experience.

Voyagers of the Nebulae is a Neutral Faction

We will not engage in taking sides with other organisations, we have no intention of formalising any alliances or emnities with other organisations.

Goals

As we are a small organisation, every member is expected to help each other to maintain organisation running costs. These running costs will change as star citizen evolves. Running costs attached to personal endeavors or ships will need to be discussed with the board members before any resource pooling is expected, as they must be done within reason to avoid economically crippling the organisation.

Voyagers of the Nebulae Charter

Article I: Name and Purpose

Name: The official name of the organisation is “Voyagers of the Nebulae,” and its tag is “NEBULAE.”

Purpose: The purpose of the Voyagers of the Nebulae is to foster a community of Star Citizen enthusiasts who share a passion for exploration, resource acquisition, and PvE quests in the vast expanse of the Star Citizen universe.

Article II: History and Leadership

Foundation: The organisation was founded by a group of pioneers and adventurers brought together by their shared love for the stars and the promise of boundless opportunities among the nebulae.

Leadership: The organization is led by “The Hummingbird,” our visionary organiser, who plays a crucial role in setting the course for our collective journey. The leadership team also includes the “Congressman,” “Tron,” and “Sergeant Seawolf,” each contributing their unique skills to achieve the organisation’s goals.

Article III: Flagship and Fleet

Flagship: The Banu Merchantman is the flagship vessel of the Voyagers of the Nebulae, representing our commitment to exploration and trade.

Fleet: Our fleet consists of various ships, each with a specific role and purpose, including the Crusader Spirit E1, Origin 125A, Cutlass Black, Avenger Titan, Prospector, and Argo Cargo vessels.

Article IV: Slogan

Slogan: “Adventure Awaits in the Nebulae” serves as our common cause, encapsulating our commitment to exploration, discovery, and camaraderie.

Article V: Manifesto

Star Citizen as a Game: We acknowledge that Star Citizen is a video game and emphasize that it’s a platform for enjoyment, entertainment, and relaxation.

Neutral Faction: We maintain neutrality, refusing to formally align with or oppose other organizations. We respect the autonomy and choices of our members.

Goals: We strive to maintain an environment of collaboration and assistance, with members contributing to the organization’s running costs within reasonable bounds. Major resource pooling for personal endeavors will be discussed and decided collectively by the board members.

Article VI: Membership and Conduct

Membership: Membership in the Voyagers of the Nebulae is open to all who share our interests, values, and commitment to our collective goals.

Conduct: Members are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful and sportsmanlike manner. We encourage cooperation and unity among members and an atmosphere of mutual respect.

Article VII: Amendments

Amendments: Any changes or amendments to this charter may be proposed by members and will be subject to a vote by the leadership team.
