History

Origins and Independent Paths (2944-2951)

Ricky7190 and Eleven38 each entered the verse around 2944, carving some reputation on separate paths. Ricky7190 established himself as a strategic freelancer, while Eleven38 gained respect as a skilled tactician. Although their paths crossed unknowingly, it wasn’t until 2952 that they officially met, forming a friendship grounded in mutual respect.

During this time, Ricky7190 occasionally teamed up with other mercenaries, including DarkCobra55, who joined him as early as 2946. Together, they focused on exploration and scouting remote parts of the verse. By 2952, additional allies—BlackRussian323 and Rawjosaurus—joined them occasionally, lending fresh skills for certain missions.
Early on in Eleven38’s career in the verse, Bensaiga also joined with him, but after limited contracts and obstacles, both ended up taking a sabbatical and retired for a few years.

The Bond of Ricky7190 and ntweat (Late 2951)

At the end of 2951, Ricky7190 partnered with ntweat, a close friend known for his rogue-like tendencies and unconventional tactics. Together, they navigated high-stakes situations, including early Xenothreat incursions, and soon became known as a formidable duo.

The Arrival of NinjaRacer, Eleven38, and Further Growth (2952)

In mid-2952, NinjaRacer, a skilled pilot and gunner, joined the team, proving his worth in many mercenary missions and demonstrating his capability to take contracts on his own from time to time. His addition brought valuable versatility to the group’s operations.

In late 2952, Ricky7190 brought Eleven38 out of retirement, and he quickly became a top member of the group. Dedicated to growing the group’s strength and fleet, Eleven38 worked tirelessly to build their reputation in the verse. His leadership and strategic mindset greatly contributed to the team’s development.

It was also Eleven38 who managed to convince Bensaiga to come out of retirement to join the group.

With these new additions, the group began to solidify their identity in the verse. Other allies like BlackRussian323 and Rawjosaurus joined in 2952, occasionally collaborating on missions. Although Bensaiga, BlackRussian323, and Rawjosaurus do not partake in daily operations, they remain valued members, contributing when called upon.

Discussions and Deliberation (2953-2954)

In early 2953, Ricky7190, ntweat, and NinjaRacer began exploring the idea of formalizing their group. Midway through the year, Eleven38 joined the talks, bringing crucial additional funding to help build their fleet. However, deliberations stalled over the organization’s name, with ntweat vetoing every proposal except his own. After a year of gridlock, Ricky7190 and Eleven38 made an executive decision in late 2954 to finalize the name and officially establish the organization.

Rise of a Mercenary Force (Late 2954-Present)

Once formalized, the organization swiftly built a reputation for reliable mercenary work, taking on bounty hunting, cargo escorts, and exploration missions. Their alliances with the 890 Jump Club and Shadowed Sun expanded their influence. Their impressive fleet, primarily funded by Ricky7190 and Eleven38, became a symbol of their strength. However, tensions arose immediately when ntweat refused to join the organization, feeling sidelined as he had no input on the organization’s name. This division tested the bonds among the group, but they pressed on with their mission.

Looking Ahead: The Hope for ntweat’s Return (2955)

As they enter 2955, the organization remains hopeful that ntweat will rejoin, strengthening their capabilities. If not, they remain open to contracting with him on an as-needed basis. United by their vision, the team aims to crew larger vessels, establish bases, and leave a lasting legacy in the verse.

Manifesto

Nerds of Fortune Manifesto

We, the members of Nerds of Fortune, unite as friends, allies, and mercenaries to carve our legacy in the verse. Bound by mutual respect, courage, and shared ambition, we set forth to make our mark across the stars—through every contract, battle, and exploration we undertake.

Our journey is more than a story of strength; it is a testament to resilience and unity. From our humble origins to the foundation of our organization, we have stood the tests of time, division, and distance. Together, we have crafted an unbreakable bond that empowers us to face the challenges of the verse.

Our purpose is clear: to offer our services as mercenaries to all who seek justice, protection, and courage. Whether safeguarding precious cargo, hunting down those who threaten the peace, or exploring the outer reaches, we pursue our work with loyalty and skill. Our alliances with the 890 Jump Club and Shadowed Sun further reinforce our place in this vast universe, strengthening our capacity to protect, defend, and expand.

While our formalized name came late, our ideals were forged from the beginning. Every ship and starbase we build, every crew we coordinate, is an extension of our vision: a network of strong, skilled members, and allies bound by respect and resolve.

We are not bound to any one member’s name or claim; rather, we are a collective—determined, resilient, and steadfast. We welcome those who share our ethos, both old allies and new, as we expand our ranks, strengthen our fleet, and solidify our legacy. Let our names resound in the verse as symbols of integrity, loyalty, and indomitable spirit.

For glory, camaraderie, and the thrill of the unknown—Nerds of Fortune prevails.
