Forged in Fire

Founded in the late hours of February 16, 2712 in a battered hanger on Armitage by the surviving members of the Horizons Trade Conglomerate, New Horizons Interplanetary was baptized by fire in the Battle of Orion. The members of NHI battled alongside civilians and the UEE against the Vanduul forces for three days, watching as the UEE struggled to fight back their foe before the Navy ultimately abandoned the people of Armitage to their ghastly fate. The few that managed to escape with some civilians swore to build a force to succeed where the Navy failed and truly protect the people.

For the many years that followed, NHI recruited members and gathered their forces, conducting raids on Vanduul systems and protecting cargo as it passed through lawless areas, while other members led assaults against the corruption of the Messer Era.
