History

Firstly on behalf of NEXE , I would like to thank you for showing an interest in our organization.
To follow, you will find some history & general information about the organization.

We are an ENGLISH speaking organization but have members from all around the world

Nex Exercitus has been in existence since 2009.03.18, its founding members were all real life friends with a desire to make a good home for themselves within EVE Online universe. It started out under a different name, The Vorlon Empire.

This corporation is all about teamwork, working together, we can achieve anything we set our minds too. We have tried most aspects of this game, and one of the areas we particularly enjoyed was PVP. We also desired a more target rich environment and so created something to be feared.

A long war and the loss of several of our members passed. I decided to create a new corp. and invited the core of 3 other pvp organizations from our current alliance.
Thus, Nex Exercitus was born. NEXE started out with about 150 members that were Combat hardened and would keep our manufacturing division busy.

Over the following years we went from being a small 5 man corporation to growing way past what we believed we would manage in a short amount of time.

On 2944-01-22 (2014-01-22 IRL) it was decided to branch into Star Citizen to continue the tradition in a new verse.

Our next journey is literally days away, we’re excited and ready.

2. NEXE Values and Behaviours

2.1 Star Citizen is a Shared Experience

Star Citizen is, at its core, a shared universe where players come together to create their own stories. NEXE recognises the diverse play styles and ambitions of its members and strives to provide opportunities for everyone, whether they seek adventure in the stars, mastery of industry, or camaraderie in battle. We respect how others choose to enjoy their Star Citizen experience and aim to support one another in achieving individual and collective goals.

2.2 Flexibility and Growth at Star Citizen’s Pace

As Star Citizen evolves, so too will NEXE. We understand that the game is in active development, and many systems and features remain in flux. NEXE will focus its efforts on current gameplay systems and adapt its strategies and structures as new opportunities emerge. We embrace the journey of growth alongside the game itself, ensuring we remain relevant and agile as the Verse expands.

2.3 NEXE is a Neutral and Unified Organisation

NEXE maintains a stance of neutrality, fostering cooperation and avoiding unnecessary conflict with other organisations. This neutrality allows us the freedom to grow, explore, and operate without external pressures or hostility. Members of NEXE are expected to uphold our values by avoiding associations with piracy, griefing, or any activity that might tarnish our reputation. Instead, we focus on collaboration, respect, and building lasting connections both within our ranks and with others in the Star Citizen community.

2.4 Inclusivity and Collaboration as Our Cornerstones

NEXE thrives on the diversity and strength of its members. We welcome players of all skill levels, backgrounds, and interests, fostering an environment where every voice is heard and every contribution is valued. Our organisational structure allows members to explore multiple roles, ensuring flexibility while enabling each individual to find their unique place within the team.

Together, we will rise to meet every challenge, seize every opportunity, and forge our path among the stars.

1. Introduction: What is a Charter?

A Charter is the guiding framework of an organisation. It defines our purpose, values, structure, and how we operate. This Charter serves as our foundation for thriving in the persistent universe of Star Citizen.
