NiMa Esports (formerly known as 24/7 Nighmare Evolution Europe server) was a Freelancer game server running until 2008. It ran for several years and had a strong community base. As SC is the natural descendant of Freelancer, this org is for anyone affiliated who wishes to reunite and socialise.

In days gone by (before the Internet exploded and Star Citizen was yet a twinkle in Chris Roberts’ eye) those who followed and revered the game Freelancer and wanted a bit more than the single player experience tried their hand at the online version which was on small dedicated game servers run generally by small organisations or enthusiasts.

Not long after the original game was released people began modding and creating different versions of the game. One of the more popular mods was called Evolutions (by Chips) and several game servers began running this version of the game.

24/7 Nightmare Evolution Europe was one of the most popular servers running the mod and was frequented by many players all over the world. It was generally quite PvP focused but there were all sorts of players invovled. Evolutions brought about capital ship warfare, higher speeds, more ships, commodies and many other things in addition to the original game.

NiMa Esports evolved from the Evolutions mod with Nomads Revenge and Shrouded Worlds mods. These added further features and systems. The original server was shutdown in 2008 but community members have continued to carry the torch and to run severs with the old mods to this day.
