History Manifesto Charter

History

We started off as a core groups of gamers in Conquerors Blade, a multiplayer PVP action/unit game. We have grown our community in that and many other games while expanding our discord.

We host weekly gaming nights and other events with the goal of giving everyone a place to enjoy games with others of like mind.

Our trip into Star Citizen has the goal of creating adventures and stories we can share as well as creating awesome memories together.

Manifesto

  • Create a community of like minded gamers
  • Have adventures and memories in games together
  • Support each other through the great and bad times
  • If you find a bug in game that impedes gameplay, you are required to do 10 pushups or sit ups.

Charter

  1. No racism, sexism, anti-semitism, religious segregation/targeted behavior, direct or indirect commentary toward an individual of either a majority or minority group based on physical or social characteristics beyond the individuals control or violating their right to self-expression.
  2. No game bashing, we have multiple channels to express opinions on games, react to game news, and the ability to privately DM players about our opinion regarding a game. If a group is actively in a particular game voice channel they should not feel belittled for playing that game by players entering their channel.
  3. All players must follow the in-game code of conduct for the game which they are playing while both engaging in communal events, and in private gaming sessions. A “ban” from an individual game in which the individual was actively a member of Noble will result in the player being removed from the gaming community (Discord and In-Game)
  4. Streamers should refrain from actively streaming in the channels not designated for streaming. These channels are not held to the same communication standards as required to gain access to the streamer category within the Discord. At their own risk a streamer may stream in the communal channels if they display a “live” in their name and verbally announce their action to all individuals in the channel. If one person disagrees the streamer is to relocate to the streaming category to continue.
    While we do support streamers we also encourage peoples right to communal non-monitored gaming.
  5. Game performance shaming will not be tolerated. While we want to celebrate the positives, going onto the communal discord to post without the individuals consent a persons failures in game will be seen as a form of cyber-bullying. This includes public shaming of members both within and outside Noble Gaming Community.
  6. This Discord is open access for voice and text to specific channels. Under no circumstances should game sensitive information be shared in these channels.
    Attempts to elicit this information will result in a ban for the length of time such information would be relevant for that particular game.
    Furthermore attempts to share/sway the population of a game to an unsanctioned decision by an individual games group by a guest of another community will result in a temporary ban. The length to be determined by the Discord moderation team.
  7. Any attempt or alluding to recruitment to a separate social gaming Discord without expressed consent from Discord team for Noble Gaming is not permitted.
    If this occurs the player will be banned for a length deemed appropriate by the moderation team.
    If it occurs multiple times from the same Discord all players associated with the Discord will be removed for a length determined by Noble Gaming moderation team.
    Attempts are defined as occurring through DMs, Sharing on Text Channels or in Voice Communication
