History

The Order of the Nomads has existed for thousands of years. Eventually culture took over enough times that the Nomads will had to find a way. In traditions of times lost, the Nomads have continued to join up and disperse over the centuries they could exist. To be a Nomad is simply to follow the way of the Nomad. We have no history as we are it’s observers and our only trade is in word of mouth. We are and always will be, we are the survivors, the seekers, the teachers, the shaman, the mediators, the little birdy that told you… A Nomad.

Manifesto

The 5 Truths of the Nomad Way:

A Nomads home is where their head rests, as your heart will always keep you in motion.
A Nomad never overstays their welcome
A Nomad is a friend to all and a master of none, trade is in the tongue and your survival depends on it.
—>Truth is seldom found
A Nomad’s trust is not a commodity, it is there to be given when deserved.
A Nomad’s respect is not a commodity, it is not earned, it is present at all times.
A Nomad’‘s honesty is not a commodity, truth is paramount, Nomads trade in our tongues, lies are a death of self and a way to cut yourself off from the Web.

A Nomads will is resolute even in the face of certain death.
A Nomads will is built to survive at any cost.
A Nomads will is to always help where an impact can be made.
A Nomads will is the way

A Nomad’s Labour is never a chore
A Nomad’s Labour does not define us
A Nomad’s Labour can be found anywhere, doing anything at any time

A Nomad spends much time alone and learns to be prepared for anything.
A Nomad is always part of the legion, “a legion of one”
A Nomad is never defined by these things, a Nomad follows these things to freedom.

Charter

Members here are part of a religious level of observance to the understandings set forth in the “The 5 Truths of the Nomad Way”.
But, ultimately:
- Freedom comes before all else
- Always help where you can make an impact
- Share good information always

The aim of the Order of Nomads is to:
- Create neutral environments for anyone to interact in
- Aide in major and minor operations around the verse
- Mediation to prevent combat
- Spreading news in the verse
