“Every normal man must be tempted, at times, to spit on his hands, hoist the black flag, and begin slitting throats.”

History

Our Story?

It’s written in stardust and scorched metal.
Etched into the wreckage left drifting in our wake.
From the fractured moons of Nyx,
To the iron walls of Castra,
And through the fire-choked veins of Pyro,
We’ve sailed the black where law dares not linger.

We’ve stared down death with a grin,
Shared drinks after close calls,
Buried friends, and burned enemies.
Each scar we carry tells a tale—
Not of defeat, but of defiance.

Ask the UEE, and they’ll call us outlaws.
Ask Stanton’s tin soldiers—they’ll curse our names.
To bounty hunters, we’re a mark.
To rivals, we’re a shadow on the horizon.
But here, in the dark,
In the hum of this half-dead station we call home—
We know who we are.

We are pirates.
We take what we need,
We live by no man’s rule,
And we answer only to the void.

Our story ain’t over.
Not while there’s fuel in the tank,
And fire in our hearts.
We’re still out there—
Writing the next chapter in blood, steel, and stars.

Manifesto

A Tale of Blood and the Void:

We ain’t from the Core.
No glass towers. No clean skies. No Earth-given mercy.
Out here, we’re hammered into shape under alien suns.
Hull plating cooks under fire, and so do we.
That’s how we’re made—scarred and scorched in the black.
They call us scum.
Outlaws.

Trash circling the drain.
But they don’t know a damn thing.
We’re pirates.
Not the storybook kind.
The kind that bleed on rusted decks and sleep beside reactors ready to blow.
The kind that spit in the face of extinction and keep flying.
We didn’t wait for a place to belong.
We stole it.

Cut it out of the dark with blade and bolt.
Welded it together with scrap and spite.
This station?
This floating pile of metal and grit?
It’s ours.
We built it from junk.
Held it through mutiny, plague, blockade, and worse.
We turned wreckage into something that lives.
That fights back.

Every scar on this hull, every grave in the airlock garden, every bastard we’ve burned to keep flying—
That’s the price.
That’s the proof.
You want safety?
Go back to your shining cities and silver spoons.
Out here, nothing’s safe.

Out here, you earn every breath.
We didn’t survive the void.
We bent it to our will.
We are pirates.
We are the curse that rides the stars.
And we don’t bow.
We burn.

Charter

Our code, our ethos, our creed. Any pirate worth their salt bears fealty to this charter and honors it to their end. Woe be to those who betray the Black Charter while bearing the Kraken’s mark and expect no repercussions.

1) Every Soul a Scoundrel
To bear the fleet’s mark proudly is to bear the burden of a lawless life. One bearing our colors is no longer exempt from getting their hands bloodied. You play your part, for there is no such thing as a half-way crook.

2) Every Vote Matters
Every single pirate within the fleet shall have a vote in affairs of moment. Captains and Quartermasters elected by their crews can be removed just the same way.

3) No Kings, No Masters
Only the bond of the black flag is above all who share its worth. A captain is a commander only in moments of conflict, nothing more.

4) Be at the Ready
Every crewmate shall keep their weapons close by and ready for a fight at any hour. Come loaded for bear or do not come at all.

5) Betray Not the Crew
He/She/They who betrays their comrades or steals from the crew shall meet the void. Theft or treachery shall be punished by marooning or death.

6) No Striking Another Aboard Ship
This goes especially when in the midst of taking a prize. All quarrels shall be settled in dock or groundside by gun or by blade under fair watch.

7) Woe Be to the Coward
A pirate who shirks the fight out of fear or deserts their crew in battle shall be cast overboard and left behind.

8) Plunder Before Pleasure
Until the cargo hold is secure with loot and the watch is set, remain on guard always. Idle hands lead to idle minds.

9) Loot Shall be Shared Fair & Square
All members of a crew regardless of role shall get equal shares in the taking of a prize. A kill earned is loot earned.

10) Exceptional Deeds Lead to Exceptional Rewards
Under agreement by the crew, should a pirate perform beyond their expected duties while underway they shall be privy to extra reward shares deemed equal to the deed noted.
