Welcome to the Naval Star Command (Star Citizen Military Simulation Unit) of Task Force Nova. After a 2-year hiatus, we’re refitted and ready for action. I’m High Admiral Joseph S. Hawkins, and I look forward to meeting you.

History

Task Force Nova was established as the primary governing and military authority in the Stanton system. Originally focused on maintaining logistical order and verifying territorial claims, the command fell victim to a subtle, biological invasion… These microscopic spores infiltrated air systems and targeted the “Weight of Authority”, the rigid cognitive patterns of senior officers. As high command reached full assimilation, the fleet began turning on its own civilian populations to acquire more hosts. The organization ultimately fractured during the “Great Betrayal,” leading to a desperate “Blind Jump” into uncharted space by a small group of uninfected survivors known as the Shattered Third.

Manifesto

The core philosophy of Task Force Nova shifted from standard empire-building to the survival of the human mind.

Verification Over Assumption: We recognize that data integrity is the backbone of reality; truth must be verified through direct, localized observation.

Resilience of the Unstructured: We value the adaptability of the “low-priority” individual, acknowledging that rigid hierarchy is a liability against cognitive threats.

Sacrifice for Autonomy: We choose the risks of the “Blind Jump” into the unknown over the guaranteed efficiency of a collective, assimilated existence.

Charter

Following the fragmentation of the fleet, the following protocols define the remaining command structure:

Autonomous Operation: Units function as semi-autonomous groups with restricted data sharing to prevent system-wide compromise.

Cognitive Defense: All personnel are subject to rigorous monitoring for procedural deviations or “procedural fatigue” that may indicate Vex-Cerebra infiltration.

Strategic Extraction: In the event of high-level command integration, lower-ranking officers are authorized to utilize legacy codes and deprecated pathways to secure fleet assets.

Last Duty Mandate: Officers are required to provide a final official report upon reaching critical levels of assimilation to warn remaining units.
