Founded in the 24th century, the OdekaOrg was setup with freelancing and mining feeding the R&D engineering arm.
Occasionally running into the seedier side of the universe when times were tight they have managed to survive by staying scrappy.
Not above minor piracy and looting a target post mission
History
Founded in 2372 after many years of struggling while fighting for others and watching their fortunes grow the founding members of Odeka decided to take matters into their own hands and create their own organization. Being scrappy was the only way they could survive and many jobs were done at a loss to build reputation.
After their initial success of mining and pulling off small jobs here and there, they landed a huge job that catapulted them from famine to feast.
The last four hundred years have been a time of great success and many developments coming out of their engineering branch.
