Remember Port ‘Oli!

Olisario will not forget what Crusader took.

2945-2954

History

In 2953, the demolition of Port Olisar by Crusader Industries marked the end of an era for Stanton. For many, Port Olisar was more than a hub; it was a symbol of freedom, commerce, and camaraderie. When the decision was made to dismantle the aging station, Crusader’s assurances of progress were drowned out by waves of public outrage. Some saw it as a corporate betrayal, a decision motivated by profit rather than the preservation of history.

Among the disillusioned were veterans, former security contractors, and ordinary citizens who had built their lives around Olisar. United by shared grief and anger, they formed Olisario, a private military company whose name echoed the station they had loved and lost. Olisario’s founders believed that such cultural erasures should never go unchecked and vowed to defend the interests of common people in an increasingly corporate-controlled galaxy.

Operating legally but with a flair for defiance, Olisario quickly established itself as a rising power. Its members were skilled in combat, logistics, and navigation, leveraging the expertise of displaced station workers and ex-military personnel. The motto, “Remember Port Olisar” reflects our commitment to protecting symbols of community and heritage.

In its first year, Olisario took on high-risk contracts, including convoy protection, anti-piracy operations, and humanitarian aid missions.
Crusader Industries labeled Olisario as opportunists, but whispers in Stanton’s underbelly suggested otherwise.

The company’s first major acquisition, a state-of-the-art Polaris-class Corvette, dubbed The “O.L.S. Northstar,” became a mobile headquarters. Olisario’s operations expanded, but their mission remained focused: standing guard against the unchecked greed that had led to the destruction of their beloved Port Olisar.

Now, in 2954, Olisario continues to walk a fine line between legality and rebellion, growing as both a military force and a symbol of resistance against corporate overreach. For the countless citizens who feel forgotten in Stanton’s sprawling megastructure, Olisario isn’t just a PMC—it’s a reminder that some battles are fought for the soul of the stars.

Charter

Preamble
We, the members of Olisario, hereby establish this Organizational Charter to outline the principles, structure, and operations of our Private Military Company (PMC). Born from the ashes of Port Olisar, Olisario is committed to protecting the rights and heritage of the people against the overwhelming forces of corpocratic greed and governmental control. With dedication to justice, security, and legacy, we shall continue our work in the service of the people, as well as the memory of our beloved station.

Article I: Structure and Governance

Head of Olisario: The “Olisarian”

The ultimate authority within Olisario is vested in a single individual known as the Olisarian. The Olisarian is the sole decision-maker on all strategic, operational, and financial matters, and holds the highest position of power within the organization.
The Olisarian is responsible for overseeing the continued success and security of Olisario, directing its operations, and ensuring adherence to the principles outlined in this charter.
The Olisarian is appointed by a council of trusted senior officers (the “Ring Council”) and may hold the position for an indefinite term.
The Olisarian may only be removed by a unanimous vote of the Ring Council, or relinquishment of charge
In the event of a vacancy, the Ring Council will convene to elect a new Olisarian from within the ranks of Olisario.

Ring Council

The Ring Council, composed of the senior leaders of Olisario, typically individuals with specialized knowledge in areas such as military strategy, logistics, finance, and intelligence. This group offers counsel and assists in the execution of major decisions. While the Olisarian has the final say, the Council plays important advisory roles in day-to-day operations.

Tiered Command Structure
Olisario operates with a hierarchical command structure, with clear lines of authority from the Olisarian down to the lowest-ranking operative. Leadership within the organization is based on merit, skill, and loyalty, rather than rank by seniority.

High Command: This tier includes the Olisarian, Ring Council, and select high-ranking officers tasked with overseeing major divisions (e.g., Operations, Logistics, Recruitment, Intelligence, etc.). They are responsible for long-term strategy and the security of Olisario’s assets.

Mid-Command: Comprising experienced operatives who have demonstrated excellence in leadership, these members oversee squads, battalions, and various specialized groups. They ensure the smooth execution of missions, managing their teams’ readiness and capabilities.

Field Operatives: The backbone of Olisario, field operatives are highly trained soldiers, tacticians, and engineers who execute contracts, protect assets, and carry out operations on the ground. Loyalty to the mission and the organization is paramount.
