History

The Imperial Crimson Legion was established on June 20, 2020, under the leadership of Quadrapodacone. Much of the organization’s origins remain enigmatic. However, confirmed reports indicate that they are frequently observed operating various spacecraft with a select group of highly skilled combat pilots.
The Imperial Crimson Legion’s roots are deeply intertwined with the old School for Assassins. Functioning as a professional guild specializing in discreet contract terminations, the organization encompassed diverse sub-guilds, including divisions for bounty hunters and court assassins. In addition, the most exceptional members formed an esteemed faction known as the Inner Circle. Over the ages, these timeless traditions and codes have been clandestinely passed down through generations, allowing the Imperial Crimson Legion to adapt and establish itself as a prominent force within the Universe.
According to Quadrapodacone, the ICL is described as a “private organization catering to elite pilots.” Renowned for providing the finest available pilots to execute vital and confidential assignments, the Guild has frequently been relied upon by the Universe’s aristocracy in times of distress. While only a minority of members attain the status of fully-fledged assassins, many attendees focus primarily on participating in industrial and survival programs rather than acquiring weapon and espionage skills. These members, known as Guild Tradesmen, contribute to the organization’s multifaceted operations. Graduates from the Guild are expected to excel in any division and possess proficiency in at least one musical instrument. However, those who fail to meet the Guild’s rigorous standards are seldom seen again, as eloquently expressed by former high-ranking guild member Mateos Waxen, who remarked, “The Guild, with its ardent emphasis on competitive examination, stands as a formidable challenge to enter and a readily traversed path to depart; disloyalty is not taken lightly.”
Upon reaching the culmination of their final year, assassins face a rigorous “final exam” referred to as “The Hunting Trip.” This assessment comprises a written test and a physically demanding obstacle course, where fellow members act as adversaries. The ultimate objective involves eliminating a designated target. The examination is meticulously designed to evaluate all facets of the trade, ranging from covert maneuvering, physical combat, electronic warfare, evading traps, and contingency planning, while simultaneously testing one’s ability to surmount obstacles and complete the assigned task under pressure akin to a genuine contract. Failure in this endeavor is invariably fatal. To prepare for “The Hunting Trip,” the Guild encourages highly competitive forms of recreation, particularly group combat. Guild-wide tournaments are also frequently organized to ascertain status, rank, and reward accomplished members.
