ONYX stands unbroken—where discipline forges strength, and strength forges victory.

History

Founded in the early 29th century, the organization emerged from a fractured coalition of independent pilots who survived the Messer Era by operating beyond the reach of imperial oversight. What began as a loose network of freelancers slowly evolved into a structured force as threats from pirates, corrupt officials, and expanding Vanduul incursions pushed its members toward unity.

In 2914, ONYX formally consolidated under a single banner after a decisive stand in the Fora system, where its pilots successfully escorted a civilian convoy through a region abandoned by local security forces. The victory earned them recognition—and recruits—from settlers who saw in them something the UEE could not always provide: reliability.

Throughout the 30th century, ONYX expanded its presence across frontier systems, establishing a reputation for discipline, adaptability, and uncompromising resolve. They operated contract-to-contract, taking on missions ranging from tactical support and industrial security to large-scale escort operations. While officially neutral, their actions often influenced regional power balances, earning both gratitude and hostility depending on which interests were threatened.

By 2940, ONYX had developed a sophisticated internal command structure and began deploying specialized divisions dedicated to reconnaissance, rapid-response, logistics, and covert interdiction. Their pilots became known for flying cutting-edge ships and maintaining battlefield cohesion that rivaled formal military units.

Today, ONYX stands as a respected—if sometimes enigmatic—presence throughout UEE and fringe space alike. Whether stepping into conflict where others hesitate or guarding trade routes long forgotten by the authorities, they carry forward a legacy built on resilience, precision, and the unwavering belief that order in the stars comes not from mandates, but from those strong enough to enforce it.

Manifesto

I. Purpose

We stand as a collective forged by ambition, bound by discipline, and united by the belief that the stars belong to those bold enough to reach for them. In a universe where power is seized, not granted, we choose to shape our own destiny—one mission, one battle, one victory at a time.

II. Vision

To carve our mark into the fabric of the UEE and beyond. We seek not only survival, but influence—an enduring presence that echoes across sectors and resonates in the minds of allies and adversaries alike. Our organization will be known for precision, resilience, and the unyielding pursuit of excellence.

III. Core Principles

1. Discipline

Strength without control is chaos. We operate with purpose, skill, and cohesion. Every member is expected to uphold the highest standard of conduct, both in battle and beyond.

2. Loyalty

We rise together. Our unity is our shield; our trust in one another is our greatest weapon. Betrayal fractures more than lines—it fractures legacy.

3. Resolve

Setbacks are temporary. Failure is only final when we cease to rise. Our organization endures because its members refuse to break.

4. Honor in Action

We measure ourselves not by words, but by the outcomes we create. Every decision—tactical or diplomatic—reflects upon the banner we carry.

5. Mastery

From flight combat to ground operations, commerce to exploration, we strive for supremacy in every role. Skill is not a gift—it is forged through repetition and the will to improve.

IV. Operations

We operate across the expanse of known space with the adaptability required to thrive in an evolving universe. Whether confronting hostile forces, securing trade routes, discovering uncharted systems, or executing strategic initiatives, our organization functions with a unified doctrine: precision, coordination, and overwhelming presence.

V. Commitment to Legacy

Our actions are not for the moment—they are for the record. We aim to establish a legacy that will stand long after our current campaigns conclude. The name of our organization will be spoken with respect, fear, or admiration—but never indifference.

VI. The Call

To those who possess courage, ambition, discipline, and the will to shape the future:
Join us.
Stand beneath our banner.
Take your place among those who refuse to fade into obscurity.

The void is vast. The threats are many.
But together, we become something greater than the dangers we face.

This is our manifesto.
This is our conviction.
This is who we are.
