I. Origins (2940–2941)
2940 – A trio of former UEE Navy salvage specialists—Captain Marisol “Ryke” Reyes, Engineer Kato Ven, and Security Chief Linh Trask—band together in the Stanton system’s fringe, pooling their meager savings to buy a rusting Polaris. 2941 – After two dozen profitable derelict recoveries, they formalize their partnership as Onyx Salvage, painting the hull in deep charcoal and adopting the faceted-gem emblem to symbolize both value reclaimed and the hidden strength in darkness.II. Early Formative Missions (2942–2944)
2942 – The acquisition of the freighter Obsidian Gauntlet doubles their hauling capacity, letting them tackle larger wrecks in armor-plated zones. 2943 – A high-profile rescue/salvage of a sabotaged Xi’an merchant vessel earns them a UEE commendation—and a contract to provide convoy security against piracy. “Salvage & Security” is quietly tacked onto their ledger.III. Rise Through a Major Salvage (2945)
2945 – When the luxury liner Astra’s Embrace drifts as a ghost ship near Aberdeen Station, Onyx Salvage is hired for a complex recovery: they secure its hazardous coolant, rescue trapped survivors, and extract luxury cargo.IV. Expansion into Bounty Hunting (2946–2948)
2946 – Riding their newfound reputation, Onyx takes on its first bounty contract: a notorious smuggler hiding in an abandoned asteroid field. Their success—clean, efficient, no collateral damage—brings in repeat work from law-offices and independent claim-jumpers. 2948 – Internal reorganization splits the corp into two divisions: Salvage & Hauling and Security & Bounty. Linh Trask is named Chief of Operations for all “dark ops.”unveil our official corporate statements soon. Please come back for updated information.V. Technological & Brand Overhaul (2949)

VI. Official Incorporation & Fleet Growth (2950–2952)
2950 – Onyx registers as Onyx Salvage & Security, LLC, opening offices on ArcCorp, Hurston, and micro-bases in the Stanton fringe. 2951 – Fleet expands to 12 vessels, including dedicated security cutters and modular salvage rigs. Membership crosses 200 contractors. 2952 – Launch of the Onyx Academy, training new recruits in “shadow salvage,” hull-breach tactics, and legal protocols.VII. Modern Day Standing (2953–Present)
2953–2955 – Onyx holds multi-year UEE contracts for station-breakdown cleanup, high-risk cargo convoy escort, and “off-books” recoveries in outlaw sectors. Today – Renowned for impeccable mission records, Onyx stands at the frontier of salvage innovation and precision security. Their black-steel ships, marked with the faceted gemstone icon, are a promise: wherever there’s ruin… they will be there.I. Our Purpose
We are Onyx. In the void of space, where wreckage drifts like forgotten ghosts, we find value. We reclaim what others leave behind—derelicts, ores, and opportunities. Through precision salvage and steadfast protection, we turn the galaxy’s refuse into resource, chaos into order, and risk into reward.
II. Our Principles Clarity of Intent
Every operation is rooted in purpose. We never wander aimlessly through the black; we strike with deliberate focus. Whether we’re cutting into a hulk scarred by battle or standing watch over a convoy, our motives are transparent to those we serve and formidable to those who oppose us. Mastery of the Shadows The dark is our domain. We know its hidden corridors and silent currents. We exploit secrecy not for its own sake, but to keep our clients safe and our work efficient. In the shadows we move swiftly—unseen, unchallenged, unstoppable. Unyielding Professionalism Onyx teams are forged by discipline. From the miner in the rig’s cockpit to the covert operative on a bounty contract, every member embodies excellence. We train, we equip, we execute—and we deliver results without compromise. Ethical Fortitude We walk the razor’s edge between legality and necessity—and we do so with a code. Contracts are honored. Civilians are protected. Innocents are spared. Our reputation is built on every handshake, every signed ledger, every successful mission. Relentless Innovation Technology and tactics evolve. So do we. From cutting-edge cutting-torches to encrypted comm-links, we harness the best tools and craft new methods to stay ahead—because in the ’verse, stagnation is death.III. Our Vision
We envision a galaxy where resource and security are no longer opposing forces, but twin pillars of progress. A world where wrecks are revitalized, supply lines run unbroken, and the scourge of lawlessness is met with precision—and perhaps a little bit of firepower.
IV. Our Oath
By onyx and iron, by starfire and steel:
We pledge to our clients unfaltering loyalty and to our crew unwavering unity. In every derelict we board and every fugitive we track, we carry our name with honor. Our intentions are clear: to salvage the lost, secure the vulnerable, and carve a path of opportunity through the darkness.
