The whimsical saga of the Order of the Galactic Goose, and its devout Sect of the Golden Egg, traces its roots back to the distant cosmic realms where laughter and camaraderie intertwined to birth a unique belief system.

Origins in Cosmic Mirth (1st April 2023 ):
Legend has it that a celestial being, known as the Galactic Goose, honked into existence the cosmic expanse we now call the Order. This benevolent creature bestowed the gift of laughter upon the cosmos, birthing a belief system where the pursuit of joy and the celebration of friendship became paramount.

The Silly Scriptures (Approximately 2202 ):
As the Order flourished, its teachings were compiled into the Silly Scriptures, a collection of cosmic tales, humorous parables, and the foundational tenets of embracing life’s silliness. During the first sella furtuna celebration a loose congregation of joy seekers formed the basis of what would later become the Galactic Goose community.

The Cosmic Pond Revelations (Approximately 2438):
Shortly after the human and Banu first contact. Guided by their newfound sense of unity, a select group of followers received divine revelations at the edge of the Cosmic Pond. In these cosmic visions, the concept of the Golden Nest Egg was unveiled, sparking the establishment of the Sect. The Founding of the Sect (2557 ):
It was while giving gifts during the first celebration of Luminalia that the Sect of the Golden Egg was founded, inspired by the newfound interstellar camaraderie, the Sect mirrored this collaboration by honking in unison to overcome cosmic challenges, forging bonds that transcended species and cultural differences.

The Great Pilgrimages (sometime in the 2600s): When rumours first surfaced about a secret planet in the magnus system named Triggerfish emerged. Manny Honkians began to believe this planet may hold information about the location of the golden nest egg.
Fuelled by the ethos of interstellar cooperation, the Sect organized grand pilgrimages, embarking on cosmic journeys to discover the Nest of Jubilation.

It was shortly after the UEEs propaganda campaign about the planet of triggerfish not existing that the Honkians created a holiday. This Holiday is celebrated by playing light-hearted practical jokes each year on the same day that the great galactic goose honked into existence.

In the contemporary era, the Order of the Galactic Goose and its devoted Sect continue to flourish.
