History

Off World Logistics Inc.

Founded on the principle that a functioning economy relies entirely on the providers who meet its demands, Off World Logistics Inc. (OWL) is dedicated to leading that charge. OWL aims to be the premier name in the high-output industrial and logistical sectors that define the empire’s economy—from heavy transport and manufacturing to complex supply chain management. In every venture, we operate by our definitive motto: “Nothing Lost, Everything Gained”.

Why OWL Inc. Exists
Every organization in the verse has an origin story. Ours didn’t start in a corporate boardroom or a military academy—it started because two friends got tired of the bureaucracy and politics of mega-orgs.

The Problem We Solved
Originally, our founders were independent haulers who wanted to scale up, so they joined a massive Star Citizen organization. It didn’t take long to realize the reality of large orgs:

  • Too Much Political Weight: Bureaucracy and ego constantly got in the way of actual fun gameplay.
  • Rank-and-File Grinding: Promising opportunities were locked behind arbitrary ranks, turning a video game into a second job.
  • Loss of Identity: Smaller, tight-knit groups of friends were forced to dissolve their squads just to fit into a rigid corporate machine.

Striking Out Alone
Realizing that environment wasn’t for them, the founders walked away. They gathered a ragtag handful of like-minded pilots, pooled their credits and ships, and struck out into the black on their own terms.

Operating on a shoestring budget on the industrial fringe wasn’t always easy, but it was incredibly satisfying. Win or lose, they were calling their own shots and flying as a true team.

The Birth of “Nothing Wasted, Everything Gained”
Our motto was forged during a tight salvage run in deep space. Facing system failures and incoming hostiles, a typical mega-org would have written the crew off as an acceptable loss on a spreadsheet.

Instead, the crew refused to leave anyone or anything behind. They synchronized, stripped the wreck, secured the cargo, and jumped out just in time. That night, our core philosophy was set: We don’t waste our people’s time, and we don’t waste their effort.

That said, we strive to make profit no matter what we, where we go, or what barriers we face.

What That Means For You Today
After overcoming the learning curve of running a successful logistics outfit, we decided to open our ranks to the community—but we built OWL to be the exact opposite of the orgs we left behind.

  • Zero Space-Politics: We are here to run operations, make aUEC, and hang out with solid players. No power trips, no mandatory timecards.
  • Protection for Small Crews: We explicitly remember what it felt like to be a small crew swallowed up by a massive fleet. That’s why we built our affiliate system—so you and your friends can bring your intact squad under our banner, keep your name and logo, and maintain your identity.
  • Infrastructure Without the Ego: We grew from a two-man hangar into a multi-divisional fleet, but our roots remain on the industrial fringe. We provide the heavy logistical weight and security of a large fleet, while keeping the tight-knit, mutual-respect vibe of an independent crew.

If that sounds like the kind of environment you’ve been looking for, welcome to OWL.

Manifesto

Off World Logistics Inc. (OWL)
Nothing Wasted, Everything Gained

If you’re looking for a mature, down-to-earth community to fly with in Star Citizen, welcome to Off World Logistics Inc. We’re a group of relaxed, collaborative players who enjoy diving into the game’s industrial, logistics, and support loops. We don’t care about corporate buzzwords, and we don’t force anyone into a rigid space-military hierarchy—we’re just here to get the job done, make some aUEC, and enjoy the game with good company.

Our Core Focus
We keep our operations diverse so there is always a project to jump into. If you enjoy any of these game loops, you’ll find plenty of like-minded crewmates here:

– Mining & Salvage: Scraping hulls, cracking rocks, and turning raw materials into profit.

- Hauling & Trade: Moving cargo across the verse and keeping the supply lines flowing.

- Base Building & Infrastructure: Planning outposts and establishing a footprint on new frontiers as the mechanics evolve.

- Security & Escort: Defensive operations to keep our fleet safe. We aren’t a PMC looking for fights, but we protect our own and ensure our runs go smoothly.

- Emergency Recovery: Out of fuel, stranded with a broken quantum drive, or downed on a moon needing a medical lift? Our rescue team focuses on getting players out of tight spots and saving their gear when things go sideways.

Bring Your Crew (Group Autonomy)
One of the key features of OWL is how we integrate smaller groups. If you already have a tight-knit squad of three to five friends who love hauling or mining, you don’t have to dissolve your group or lose your identity to join us.

We welcome smaller orgs as affiliate teams. You keep your own banner, name, and internal autonomy, while gaining full access to OWL events, larger-scale operations, and shared resources as contracted members.

How We Organize
To keep large group events organized without turning the game into a second job, we utilize a straightforward divisional structure managed by Division Chiefs, each coordinating with the teams in their respective branch of OWL.

Flexible Participation: You are welcome to participate in any or all divisions whenever you want.

Primary Focus: All we ask is that you declare one “priority division” that aligns with your main interest. This simply helps our leadership understand our staffing strengths when planning major, coordinated operations.

Come See If We’re A Fit
At the end of the day, OWL is aiming to be a reliable, go-to for-hire fleet in the verse, built on a foundation of respect, clear communication, and mutual support. If you’re looking for a stable, mature environment where you can log in, decompress, and fly with a solid team, come see if OWL is the right home for you.

We’ll see you in the verse!

Note: OWL is focused strictly on logistical and defensive operations; we do not offer public mercenary or paramilitary services. Our emergency recovery team prioritizing extracting players first, and retrieving client-owned assets secondarily if the situation allows.
