Welcome to Pawpaw’s Junkyard
A salvage & recovery outfit with grease under the nails and honor where it counts.
Operating primarily out of Crusader space, Pawpaw’s Junkyard specializes in recovering what others abandon.
History
Pawpaw’s Junkyard started as a one-person operation when I, Tassuttaja, moved to the Stanton system some years back. I didn’t have much—just a ship that needed constant fixing and the habit of answering distress calls others ignored. Salvage jobs turned into towing, towing turned into rescue work, and before long it made sense to call it a business instead of “just getting by.”
We operate mainly around Crusader, but we take towing and rescue work anywhere in the verse. If your ship is dead, damaged, or drifting somewhere it shouldn’t be, we’ll do our best to bring it—or you—back in one piece.
The name comes from my cats. I moved to Stanton from Sol and, officially speaking, the cats were not part of the cargo manifest. They’ve been around ever since, claiming every cockpit and crate as their own. These days they’re the face of Pawpaw’s Junkyard—proof that even wrecks, strays, and bad ideas can still be worth saving.

Ships, parts, pilots, bad ideas—if it’s broken and still floating, it deserves a second look.
Pawpaw’s Junkyard exists to salvage, tow, rescue, and restore across the Star Citizen universe. We don’t chase glory, kill counts, or corporate approval. We answer beacons, haul wrecks, and keep traffic lanes a little less deadly than we found them.
We operate honestly, even when the universe doesn’t. Real life comes first. Bugs happen. Ships explode. Nobody gets yelled at for things outside their control. If someone needs help and we can reasonably provide it, we do.
If it’s still drifting, it’s not done yet.
Charter
Pawpaw’s Junkyard – Public Charter
This charter defines the conduct of Pawpaw’s Junkyard members and the services we offer to the public.
Conduct
Members of Pawpaw’s Junkyard are expected to act professionally in public interactions. We do not harass, grief, scam, or exploit players under our name. Disputes are handled calmly or walked away from. If a situation escalates unnecessarily, we disengage.
Real life comes first. Bugs, disconnects, and lost ships are part of operating in Stanton and beyond. Members are expected to keep a level head and treat others with respect, especially during rescue and recovery operations.
Services
Pawpaw’s Junkyard provides the following services on a best-effort basis:
- Ship salvage and wreck recovery
- Towing of disabled or damaged vessels
- Search and rescue for stranded pilots
- Transport of recovered hulls and components
- Restoration and resale of reclaimed ship parts
Our primary area of operation is the Crusader region, but towing and rescue services may be provided anywhere in the verse when available.
We reserve the right to decline contracts that are unsafe, abusive, or clearly intended to exploit goodwill.
Reputation
When you deal with Pawpaw’s Junkyard, you’re dealing with people who value their name. If we take a job, we do our best to finish it. If we can’t, we say so.
