This Penguin Colony found its beginning in school amongst friends in the reaches of the great frigid north. Yearning to someday fly, they banded together and found a way to break away from the mundane drudgery of gravity, and finally make it up to the stars!

Ambition, Motivation, and Opportunity is our way.

Charter

Welcome to the Pecking Order!

Membership is open to all Penguins and the rules are simple:

(1) All Penguins are colony members and can have a say in all Penguin Colony affairs.

(2) Roles: All roles as Penguin Air Bosses, Penguin Outreach, and Penguin Intake Specialists are open to only those willing to accept the responsibility of maintaining the Penguin Colony, to spend time to coordinate operations for the Penguin Fleet, to develop plans and strategies for the colony, and to keep the colony in good working order. Simply stated, if you want the role, it can be yours if you’re willing to put the work into it.

(3) Ranks: Penguin Colony ranks are not meant as a hierarchy, but are meant to recognize those who have stood with us over time or are doing important work for the colony. – All new Penguins begin as a Flightless Bird for the first two weeks as they get used to our operations and are then are given the rank of a Colony Member. – All Penguins who stay with the us for more than 3 months earn the rank of Experienced Colony Member. – All Penguins who stay with the colony more than 6 months earn the rank of Senior Colony Member. – All Penguins who currently play a role in the colony will be recognized with the rank of Penguin Colony Staff. – The rank of Penguin Colony Founder recognizes the hard work of members who complete significant work to get this colony started and established.
