“We’re not a scam. We’re a lifestyle.”
The Cayman Islands Ponzi Scheme is an industrial outfit (Salvage/Mining/Cargo) doing “alternative logistics.” In-game, we opportunistically bend UEE laws for profit.
we’re a chill, non-toxic crew.
Your money is safe with us. Probably.
Every highly profitable, dubiously legal enterprise has to start somewhere. Ours started with a simple realization: the UEE takes too many taxes, and playing entirely by the rules doesn’t buy you nice ships.
The Founding Idea
The Cayman Islands Ponzi Scheme wasn’t born in a high-tech corporate boardroom. It was founded by a few burnt-out industrial workers—miners, haulers, and scrappers—who got tired of grinding for pennies. We realized that “unmonitored” cargo is just waiting for a new home, and that salvage operations are significantly more profitable when you’re willing to bend a few regulations. We decided to cut out the middlemen and become our own bosses.
What’s With the Name?
Why call ourselves a Ponzi Scheme? It’s called hiding in plain sight. We wanted a name so aggressively shady that corporate security and UEE bureaucrats would assume it was just a bad joke. More importantly, it acts as a cultural filter: if you can’t appreciate the dark humor of the name, you probably aren’t chill enough to fly with us anyway.
Where We Are Now
Today, we operate as a collective of “alternative logistics specialists.” We aren’t a massive, faceless armada with strict uniform codes, mandatory operations, or heavy roleplay requirements. We’re just a crew of players who log on to share a laugh, crack some rocks, strip some derelict hulls, and make a ridiculous amount of profit without taking ourselves too seriously.
