History
1986
April 26, 1:23.
Chernobyl Reactor Number 4 explodes. Pripyat and other settlements are evacuated.
2006
March 4.
Blinding light appears over the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant. The light lasted for two hours before suddenly disappearing.
June 10.
The Zone grows 5km after an emission which is now known as the “Second Disaster”.
2011
News of the possibility to survive in the Zone leaked. Stalkers make their way into the zone seeking artifacts. Stalkers continue searching and researching the Zone for many years.
2038
Robert Space Industries is founded.
2140
The first commercially available starship is released by Robert Space Industries. The last remaining Stalkers use this technology to use their skills to find new opportunities.
Manifesto
Stalkers in the past have been mostly loners, but over the years they have become more of a group rather than solitary mercenaries.
They found that working together can yield far more profit rather than fighting amongst themselves.
Although Stalkers no longer prefer to work against each other, the one thing that did not change is they will get wealthy by any means necessary.
