We have been working in the shadows and outside the bounds of the UEE for centuries. We are not criminals nor do we have malicious intent. Proteus Rising is the embodiment of discovery and the unknown. You will not have heard of us and nor should you. Our organization’s history is not public yet those who can claim their names to Proteus Rising are written into your history books.
Since the early 26th century we have been searching the unknown and bringing light to the darkness. Terra, the shining jewel of the UEE was first discovered by our members and settled by their descendants. It is without a doubt that those who have decided to join Proteus Rising have made a mark on the universe that will last forever.
We have always stayed in the shadows, avoiding the unnecessary prying and oversight of politics. As we move forward this may change as the UEE becomes more open to outside involvement and decisions. For now most of our history will remain hidden, but our marks are well seen. Just know that when you see something in the unknown and newly discovered, we have been there.

When others find our mark on distant worlds they will know what true courage is. When others discover a world settled where they thought none could be, they will find us. When others look to the stars and ask what is next, we are already there.
We are Proteus Rising and we are explorers. Centuries of discovery has been written by our sweat and blood. Working together to not only be a part of something great, but to create the greatness others only wish to achieve. The worlds you discover shall be in your name, the resources you take shall be for your fortune, the name that you make shall be in the image of greatness, and you shall live forever.
You shall not demand fame for it is only earned through struggle
