History
Founded in 2810 as Terran Express Delivery Services, the company managed to grow to 8 ships at peak operations. By 2928 however, the company was already barely staying afloat when a major recession hit the UEE.
In 2933 Terran Express Delivery Services declared bankruptcy. Oliver Kind, descendant of the original founder, concluded that a corporate environment was not the way to go. Using the majority of his personal savings, he purchased a lightly used Freelancer, as well as a hangar on Terra, then set about starting from scratch.
After a couple ill-fitting re-brands to “PaddleSteamer Shipping” and then “TranShip”, the organization purchased the long-defunct “QuantumBox” brand from a holding corporation who had no intent to use the trademark. Currently operating under the name “quantumbox corporation”, or qbCorp for short, we have carved a niche for ourselves doing small scale shipping and logistics.
Manifesto
We’re just a small group of internet friends who decided to run a fictional transport company in Star Citizen.
Keep in mind that if you aren’t a close friend of an existing member, you have no chance at joining qbCorp. Don’t worry, though! We’ll gladly work with other Orgs, and our members don’t get any exclusive perks or benefits for being a member!
