Quantum Eternal Origin

Quantum Eternal was founded in 2075 shortly after Roberts Space Industries introduction of the Quantum Core Engine. Founder’s Andrew Lee and Mike Vernon had always seen the stars as humanity’s future. Upon the announcement of their newest endeavor, Andrew said

“With RSI’s new Quantum Engines, we can now begin to push the limits of what is known in the hopes that one day we will have learned enough to walk among the stars”.

Since then, Quantum Eternal has splattered the history books with a wide range of accomplishments and discoveries.

Quantum Eternal’s Past

Mars Terraforming

After the Mars Terraforming tragedy of 2125, Quantum Eternal was selected to help ensure the re-terraforming would be done properly. Working with RSI, Quantum Eternal was responsible for the optimal placement of the Atmospheric Processors allowing Mars to be colonized a mere 32 years after the tragedy.

Next Gen Fusion Engine

Quantum Eternal then worked closely with RSI on their development of the next generation of fusion engines. Pushing ships beyond their limits at the edge of human space Quantum Eternal helped RSI create the engine that ultimately led to the commercialization of space for humanity.

Discover of First Jump Point

After studying the Neso Triangle for 10 years, Nick Croshaw discovered the first Jump Point only after data obtained by Quantum Eternal’s pilot, Dr. Jack Anderson was shared with him. Nick Croshaw in his post-Jump speech,

“Obviously this great accomplishment could not have been done without the hard work of many individuals including…Dr. Anderson of Quantum Eternal, whose radiation field data allowed me to calculate the exact location of the Jump Point”.

Western Expansion Program

Quantum Eternal was selected to help lead the UEE’s Western Expansion Program. Unlike its eastern counterpart, the exploration of the western sectors proved to be long and tedious work. Mapping out large swaths of empty space and barren rock, Quantum Eternal found its noteworthy achievements and discoveries becoming fewer and farther between with the exception of Jump Points. Quantum Eternal was solely responsible for the discovery of 7 Jump Points in the western sectors as well as partially responsible for 11 others making Quantum Eternal the unparalleled leader of western Jump Point discovery.

Quantum Eternal Today

Some 200 years after Quantum Eternal discovered their latest Jump Point, Quantum Eternal Civilian HEAD RedLeeder who was best known for his success with establishing Quantum Commerce, was unanimously elected QUANTUM CEO in 2942. His first move was to bring in outside help in the form of the UEE’s Navy Ace, Mors Altra and announce another new offering in the form of Quantum Security. Mors Altra was named as HEAD of this new division and is considered equal in rank to the CEO. Saying “MORS ALTRA QUOTE”. RedLeeder comments on this huge adjustment saying “Quantum Eternal has had a long history of being the cutting edge of discovery and Quantum Security allows us the keep that edge sharp. The acquisition of Mors allows Quantum Eternal to ensure that all of our offerings (divisions?) are secure in this ever-changing universe. This does not shift the goal of Quantum Eternal as our priority will always be to push the limits of what is known”.

RedLeeder began his Quantum Eternal career by enlisting as a EXPLORERNAME pilot where he still holds record scores for all enlisting tests. After a year of piloting his 300i (named Enterprise after a SciFi show from the 1960’s, yikes) in mid-tier exploration with an unblemished 16-0 hostile encounter ratio, RedLeeder was promoted to LEAD RANGER. He gained notoriety among his peers and the outside community by leading a freelance rescue mission, dubbed FlySwatter, of a stranded civilian transport under fire from a Vanduul Scythe Warparty. Outmatched in every possible manner Quantum Eternal was able to kill 3 Scythes before forcing their retreat. 1 casualty was noted. RedLeeder and his wingmen were awarded the Silver Wing Medal for Valor including the posthumously Black Tipped Silver Wing for Valor award for their fallen comrade. Before being promoted to QUANTUM CIVILIAN LEAD he was able to improve the H.E. ratio of the RANGERS by 40%.

His most notable achievement during his short span as QUANTUM CIVILIAN LEAD was the introduction of Quantum Commerce. Upon its introduction in 2943, Quantum Commerce has scheduled contracts well into the 2300’s creating the financial surplus that Quantum External desperately needed. Shortly after the success of Quantum Commerce, the Quantum Council unanimously voted RedLeeder to his current position of QUANTUM CEO.

As the youngest ever QUANTUM CEO, RedLeeder may be the spark that Quantum Eternal needs to get back in the headlines. That’s exactly what happened when RedLeeder announced Quantum Security saying, “Quantum Eternal has had a long history of being the cutting edge of discovery and Quantum Security allows us the keep that edge sharp. The acquisition of Mors allows Quantum Eternal to ensure that all of our offerings (divisions?) are secure in this ever-changing universe. This does not shift the goal of Quantum Eternal as our priority will always be to push the limits of what is known”. It appears that RedLeeder is setting up Quantum Eternal to make a big splash in the infinity that is space, using the organization’s newly made riches to reinvest into the Quantum Fleet. Quantum’s newest flagship SUNRISE, a Constellation Class Aquila, is the largest the organization has ever seen. RedLeeder’s Acquisition of Mors Altra also brought an F7C-S Hornet Ghost into the fleet which drastically improving their security potential.
