Ritter Global Logistics originated as a family owned planetary delivery business in the late 2840’s. Following diversification into general haulage, a Limited Company, Ritters Transport was formed in 2854. This newly formed company handled mainly dock related products with further diversification into warehousing and earth manufactured products soon after.
Successful strategic acquisitions and organic development produced large growth for the company during the 2860’s. This substantial change occurred when the UEE government chose Ritter for a government contract to provide massive amounts of cabling to update the UEE fleet. Which enabled Ritter to obtain CradleCorp, a logistics company specialized in supplying offworld bases and new colonies. This changed the game and made Ritter go Universal.
In 2866 we saw management buyout completed by ExSec Security Corp, a very old private military company, that with no purpose during peace time, saw their stocks plummit since the wars had stopped and the ARK was made and thus decided to use its fortune earned in the Banu, Xi’an and Vanduul wars respectively, to diversify into it’s own logistics company to protect.
This takeover eventually led to a complete merger of both companies and formed into Ritter Industrial & Security Concern or R.I.S.C. as we have all come to know it today.
