The ravens see. The spear answers. (Observe, Coordinate, Execute)
Raven & Spear was formed around a simple belief: a crew is strongest when every member understands the mission, knows their role, and can trust the people beside them.
The name comes from two ancient symbols tied to Odin. The ravens represent awareness, thought, memory, and the ability to see what others miss. The spear represents purpose, precision, and decisive action when the moment comes. Together, they define how we operate.
We are not built around chaos, ego, or chasing status. We are built around coordination.
In the ’verse, every mission can change without warning. A routine transport can become a rescue. A patrol can become a fight. A recovery operation can turn into a test of discipline, communication, and trust. Raven & Spear exists for the players who want to be part of a crew that can adapt when things go sideways.
Our foundation is simple: observe the situation, coordinate the team, and execute with purpose.
We are building an organization known not only for capability, but for how we conduct ourselves. We help newer players, respect our allies, stay composed under pressure, and operate in a way that others want to fly beside.
Raven & Spear is not just a banner. It is a standard.
We believe a crew is more than a collection of players.
A real crew communicates. A real crew prepares. A real crew understands that every role matters, from the pilot at the helm to the engineer keeping systems alive, the gunner watching the blind spot, the scout feeding intelligence, the medic standing ready, the hauler moving supplies, and the security team holding the line.
We believe discipline does not mean taking the fun out of the game. It means creating the kind of structure that lets people enjoy the game more. When everyone knows what they are doing and everyone has each other’s back, the mission becomes smoother, stronger, and more rewarding.
We believe leadership is service, not status. Titles mean little if they do not help the crew succeed. Good leadership creates clarity, keeps the team calm, and makes sure people have what they need to contribute.
We believe in calm execution over noise. Panic breaks crews. Ego divides crews. Confusion wastes time. We choose preparation, communication, and trust.
We believe in being a positive force in the ’verse. We will help new players learn. We will share what we discover. We will treat others with respect unless they give us reason not to. We will build a reputation based on reliability, coordination, and action.
We are Raven & Spear.
The ravens see.
The spear answers.
We observe.
We coordinate.
We execute.
1. Purpose
Raven & Spear exists to build a disciplined, capable, and respected Star Citizen organization centered on teamwork, communication, and mission execution.
Our goal is to create a crew environment where members can learn, contribute, specialize, and take part in organized operations across multiple areas of gameplay.
We are not limited to one profession or one type of mission. Our strength is coordination.
2. Core Principles
Observe
We gather information before we act. We value awareness, scouting, preparation, and understanding the situation.
Coordinate
We communicate clearly, assign roles, support each other, and operate as a team instead of disconnected individuals.
Execute
When the mission begins, we act with purpose. We stay calm, adapt when needed, and complete the objective.
3. Code of Conduct
Members of Raven & Spear are expected to:
Treat other members with respect.
Help create a positive and useful environment for both new and experienced players.
Communicate clearly during organized operations.
Follow mission leadership during events and coordinated activities.
Represent the organization well when interacting with others in the ’verse.
Avoid unnecessary drama, toxicity, griefing, or behavior that damages the reputation of the org.
Respect that real life comes first. This is a game, and participation should remain enjoyable.
4. Membership Expectations
Raven & Spear welcomes players who want to contribute to a coordinated crew culture.
Members are not required to be experts. Willingness to learn, communicate, and work with the team matters more than experience.
Members are encouraged to develop preferred roles, such as:
Piloting
Engineering
Gunnery
Security
Medical support
Reconnaissance
Logistics
Cargo operations
Salvage and recovery
Mining and resource support
Fleet coordination
Ground operations
Support and training
Every role has value when it supports the mission.
5. Operations Philosophy
Raven & Spear operations should be organized, purposeful, and adaptable.
Before a mission, we prepare.
During a mission, we communicate.
When conditions change, we adjust.
When pressure rises, we stay calm.
The goal is not to overcomplicate gameplay. The goal is to remove confusion so members can focus on doing their part and enjoying the experience.
6. Leadership Philosophy
Leadership in Raven & Spear is based on responsibility, not ego.
Leaders are expected to provide direction, maintain order during operations, listen to members, and help others improve.
A good leader does not simply give commands. A good leader creates a crew that understands the mission and trusts the plan.
7. Reputation
Raven & Spear aims to be known as a reliable and respected organization.
We want allies to trust us, new players to feel welcome around us, and opponents to recognize that we are coordinated and capable.
Our reputation will be built through consistent action, not empty claims.
8. The Standard
The standard of Raven & Spear is simple:
See clearly.
Move together.
Act with purpose.
The ravens see.
The spear answers.
