In the vast expanse of the ‘verse, danger lurks in every asteroid belt, every derelict hull, and every battlefield. Our mission is simple yet vital: keep our crew alive. We are the lifeline in the chaos — trained to heal, protect, and bring our people home, no matter the odds.
The Last Call & New Beginning:
The members of Extraction Protocol had seen too much of war’s teeth. As combat medics in the UEE Navy, they’d patched wounds in zero gravity, dragged soldiers from burning hulls, and watched too many eyes close for the last time. When they left the service, they thought they’d leave the battlefield behind forever. But the universe had a way of finding those who could still make a difference.
They settled in Nyx, opening a clinic to support the local populations. It was meant to be simple—treating miners, traders, and mercenaries. Yet, every time they heard the distant hum of a ship’s engines, their hearts tightened. They missed the urgency, the raw purpose. Then One evening, a battered Ironclad limped into port. Its hull was scorched, and as its pilot staggered into their clinic, clutching a blood-soaked jacket. “Pirates,” he gasped. “They’ve got hostages… no one’s coming.” As the Triage Medics exchanged a look. They didn’t need words. The war had taught them that hesitation kills.
Within an hour, they were aboard their Apollo Medivac—still pristine from years of careful maintenance. The medbay hummed, stocked with supplies they’d never stopped replenishing. They plotted a course to the asteroid belt where the pirates had holed up. With the Breaching Team in tow. Piloting a Legionnaire.
The rescue was chaos. Medics crawled through narrow corridors under suppressive fire, stabilizing the wounded with portable medkit’s. The Breachers provided cover fire and support. They moved like they had in the old days—two halves of a single heartbeat. By the time the UEE patrol arrived, the hostages were already aboard the Apollo, their injuries treated, their fear eased. They transported everyone to base. The Crew didn’t wait for thanks; they simply returned to Nyx, docking quietly under the cover of night. The next morning, their clinic opened as usual. No one knew what they had done, except the people whose lives they’d saved. And that was enough.
In the vast expanse of the Star Citizen universe, heroes didn’t always wear uniforms. Sometimes, they wore the quiet smile of those who had answered the last call—and would answer it again. From this day forward, the members of Extraction Protocol swore to help those in need. Even if it meant their own life’s.
