History

The history of the Red Kingdom dates back many years, the actual date of conception is fiercely debated by historians today.

[Stare Citizen Lore] The Red Kingdom appeared in Stanton in the year 2952, falling out of a highly unstable jump point. The jump point collapsed destroying many outlandish ships into scrap. The survivors were picked up by the UEE navy that witnessed the entire incident while investigating reports of strange readings in the area. After rehabilitating the survivors and subjecting them to a slew of questioning, the RK citizens were sent for processing and ultimately became UEE citizens of Stanton. As far as the UEE navy understands these humans came from another unknown part of the galaxy but all were so tight lipped that the true origin is unknown.

Among the Survivors, was the King of the Red himself. Now they band together to build their world among the citizens of these new stars. Ever vigilant for ways back home, and with the knowledge those home are seeking them as well, the RK is a growing force. Mainly keeping to themselves and “loosely” holding claims to territory within UEE space. The RK is a coalition, made up of any race, creed, and anyone that is useful, and promotes growth. This too is evident in their growing fleet, being of any manufacture that gets the job done.

Although the RK is law abiding, they are more then a blip on the UEE radar. The RK claims to stand with the UEE but it is becoming more evident that the Red may be harboring if not actively deploying a internal pirate sub faction. Not much is known for sure, but the few survivors of recent attacks claim seeing well armed, and organized shock troopers in pink and purple armor. Even fewer claim to be the victims or attacks from a group within those in pink. They claim to over hear radio transmissions while cowering in fear calling this elite group in black and brown as the 171st.

It is said, that back home the name Red Kingdom was slang referring to their banner color in a bloody civil war known as the Thousand Generational War. Each society had its own logo but also a distinct color, thus the nickname of “The War of Colors” took hold. It was not until the now lost king rose to unite their world under one banner, to be united is to be red. Together and with combine technology the Red Kingdom not only took their solar system but hundreds more. They arrive not as conquers but as friendly explores, seeking to strengthen their people and find homes for their booming population. It is not until the will of a suppressed people rises up and seeks to become “Red” that the RK becomes conquers but liberators in the eyes of the galaxy.

[IRL LORE] The Red Kingdom did start as a war of colorful banners, but not a bloody civil war, although not in the minds of the warriors. It started on the playground as children, and the kingdoms, boys vs girls. As the warriors grew the two teams mingled, from Red and purple branched off into all the colors of the rainbow. They grew from school house pranks to table top games, even full on paintball / airsoft wars. Sometime had passed when that too faded and with that so did many kingdoms, either absorbed by the Red or completely defeated and crushed under their power.

The surviving Red, yellow, blue, and gold kingdoms lived on through couch co-op or online videogames. In what seemed like blinking of an eye the Red kingdom was the last standing, comprised of members from each defeated kingdom. The team or guild name lived “Red Kingdom” lived on as the parent team, giving birth to offspring guilds. The most common and infamous, “AzzOlls Guild” and their elite division “The 171st Ganker Squad” terrorized games like “WoW” Or D2 just to name a few.

As time passed, the members of The Red Kingdom went their separate ways. Some grew out of games, while others could not find the time, and sadly other passed away. However the Red is attempting to reorganize, and star citizen is one of many the Kingdom will be active on. New members will carry the banner into the future. Together the Red will always be a safe haven for all, to be united is to be Red.

(PS. If you were spawn camped, and or had to body drag back to a safe zone only to be ganked in the safe zone by the above mentioned guilds…well play better)

We accept players from all walks of life, and although we do roleplay it is not mandatory, but deepens the emersion.

EXAMPLE

You join both mining and salvage crews. While you are out enjoying your craft you are beset by pirates. You call command for aid as you and the members with you either flee or fight. You end up complying after seeing them down your wingman, while transferring your cargo you notice several pirate vessels suddenly erupt into balls of fire. The Red navy has arrived, players preferring ship combat make quick work of small fighters while those in command of capital ships provide support taking down larger vessels. Players that prefer FPS are breaching the pirate ships taking no hostages, while a drop ship puts medical players on the ground for your wingman.

On the other hand, you being a law keeper isn’t your “Fizzy Cola” Within the Red Kingdom is the infamous AzzOlls Guild. (Due to current world views their elite division “171st Ganker squad” may at some point take center stage in operations) The Red Kingdom doesn’t claim their existence and certainly claims they aren’t elite special forces of our ranks. However those are necessary lies to cover our illegal operations under UEE supervision. Joining this crew, you enjoy relaxed rules, and your own private chat room. It is encouraged to steal cargo, pad ram, even create situations that the Red Kingdom could profit from. (See rules under charter for operation details & under the history tab for the back story.)

OPERATIONAL POLICIES.

Holo Tome of Red Citizen Conduct and Expectations

We expect Red Citizens to play fairly and by the TOS of Star Citizen. However above all we hope you have a enjoyable time playing with us. Although you have the freedom to do as you, please, we expect some form of teamplay to progress the Kingdom.

I. All RK citizens are expected to follow the rules and regulations hereby set forth by the King and the royal administration.
II. All RK citizens including AZG/171st GSQ members are not to treat any member of the kingdom with disrespect.
III. All members of the RK are not to take actions to impede the progress or knowingly sabotage the progression of the Kingdom unless directed to by the King.
IV. RK citizens other than the members of AZG/171st GSQ are to carry themselves with honor and respect.
V. RK Knights are to carry out their duties with the highest level of professionalism, to be the best, the finest, and the most honorable.
V a. AZG/171st GSQ Knights are expected to be the best most deplorable miscreants at their craft.
VI. All RK Citizens are expected to obey their commanding officers. Including but not limited to; Leads, Commanders, admirals, captains, Bosses, and the like.

The Kingdom thrives because we have a structured thought-out hierarchy. To be the best, all RK citizens are to follow their superior officers. Rankings are laid out in the order of subordinate to superiors;

  1. Recruit, An entry level un-proven RK citizen. The recruit seeks to gain knowledge of the dynamics of the Kingdom, while trying to settle into a role. Once a role or roles are selected they aim to gain the attention of a Knight to sponsor their rise.
  2. Squire, the squire, has proven themselves useful to the Kingdom and shows promise in their selected roles. They have been acquired by a Knight to train them.
  3. Knight, A Knight is the backbone of the Kingdom. To become a knight, you must be chosen by a Knight captain. You have excelled in your roles and carried yourself with the pride and honor set forth by your forbearers.

To advance any further from the title of Knight, there must be a need or vacancy. You will be selected by a voting process after a peer review of your deeds and actions thus far. The following titles will hold the vote while knights may also voice their opinions.

  1. Knight Captain, knight captains lead knights in all duties. They also are responsible for determining when a squire is ready for knighthood.
  2. Wing Commander, the wing commander has demonstrated a adapt ability for organizing “wings” of the RK. They are responsible for entire departments within the Red Kingdom. Including but not limited to, Mining, salvage, transportation, racing, exploration, combat departments, etc. Although most wing commanders are attached to a flight group and demonstrate a adapt ability for flying it is not a limiting factor.
  3. Admiral, the Admirals of the Red Kingdom are generally focused on the fleets. They oversee entire categories, such as mining, salvage, & transportation fleet. While another Admiral is combat and medical or science and exploration, etc. The admirals report to the King and are responsible for organizing the aforementioned fleet types.

Red Kingdom Roles

Within the Red Kingdom each citizen has the freedom to choose how they want to live their life. Jobs or roles are a way to filter your particular skill sets and bring prosperity to your Kingdom. You may choose one role or many roles. To best facilitate this we recommend you join the Red Kingdom discord comm channel linked above. We encourage each red citizen to have fun and to have an immersive experience with us as well as on the game. The use of roleplay and uniforms is one such way to deepen the experience and fully immerse yourself in the game. Although this is not required it is encouraged.
In discord, you can be assigned a role and be granted access to the chat room for that category of teamplay. Within each role there is two ranks, the first is your standard rank. While the second is a lead, boss or Sargent. These higher ranked roles are a working member of each crew. They report to and receive orders from the knight captains. They are knights, responsible for the minor details of each mission and handling of their crew.

Piracy, the internal guild of the RK is an infamous lot known as Gankers or AZG. The AZG is known to raid cargo shipments, hold hostages for ransom, and especially grief. Their elite units known as the 171st Ganker squads are deployed for top tier missions that usually paves the way for Red Kingdom knights to gain an upper hand. They may raid a cargo ship stealing some cargo or taking a ransom, but the Red Kingdom my take the contract to come save that same transport. thus, dealing a double payday for the RK. This group is not held to the same rules and codes as the RK as a whole and will be detailed bellow. There are two ranks as mentioned above in this internal syndicate. Members, who are the meat thrown into the fire and Bosses or officers who lead them. The AZG officers receive orders from the same way knights would.

Holo tome of Codes of Conduct & Punishment

A RK Citizen may be subject to demotion based upon infractions committed. Infractions are classified as outlined below:

I. Minor Infractions – In the event that a minor infraction has been committed by a citizen and there is sufficient supporting evidence of the infraction, the member will be given a written warning from a knight captain or greater. If three (3) minor infractions are committed within a 30-day period, the offender is demoted from current rank. After 30 days from time of infractions, the offence will be nulled. Each individual offence has the 30-day Timmer. After each offence has expired and are nullified from active records they are placed in reports for reference and the citizen is once again eligible for promotion.

The citizen will be demoted from ranks above Knight back to knight with a extra three (3) strikes to be demoted further to Squire. A citizen of the rank Knight will be demoted to Squire holding two (2) new strike opportunities. After the secondary grace period strikes are used the citizen will be terminated from the Red Kingdom and hunted for life by the AZG.

New citizens who have not been promoted higher than the rank of squire have three (3) strikes. A squire who incurs all three (3) is demoted back to recruit. They must wait until all three strikes are nulled be for readvancement. A new RK citizen that never archived higher than the rank of recruit has five (5) strikes. After all five (5) strikes have been utilized they lose eligibility for service and dismissed from the Red Kingdom. They may re apply in two (2) calendar months.

II. The verse is a vast expanse fraught with danger around every shadow. We are here to bring light to the dark, a peace among the violent. The Red Kingdom is a military force, here to bring peace and order whilst expanding our territory. We harbor safe operation to those among us that promote and advance our economy.

2. While maintaining an everlasting shield of protection over our own we aspire to protect all those who cannot protect themselves. We adhere to the laws and codes set forth by the UEE. We live by a higher code set forth by our King and the royal court. in adhering to these laws and codes we bring a set of excellence and professionalism that is second to none. All that know the Red Kingdom will know they are safe and those that bring chaos will know fear.

3. adhering to these codes will bring assurance of the highest operating standards and quality to:

General Principles

6. The Red Kingdom will only engage in legitimate lawful activates which adheres to the principles of UEE Law.

7. The AZG & 171st GS are not restrained by # 6 above.

8. RK seeks to mitigate risk to their clients that may pay for escorts. We also mitigate the dangers of those operating for the RK to any level.

9. The RK does not condone, nor will it ever become involved in, the violation of human rights as embodied within
the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the UEE Convention of Human Rights. AZG / 171st GS is again not held to this code.

Law and Regulation

10. The RK operates under the following:

11. RK citizens are to adhere to these laws and report any miss use or disregard for the laws to the appropriate authorities. We are to maintain a moral and ethical supremacy in every situation.

Selection, Training and Vetting.

12. All new RK citizens may freely join the kingdom as a recruit. Recruits are selected by knights to advance their rank. Once a recruit demonstrates competence and a adapt skill and knowledge with their preferred roles, they will be eligible to be promoted to squire.

13. Training of squires is carried out by a knight who takes said squire under their wing.

14. Squires will be taught a full understanding of the processes of the Red Kingdom from their knight.

15. A squire will be trained in detail of the scope of their chosen role and how their duty within the RK.

16. A squire will be trained on basic gameplay and walkthrough of star citizen if needed.

17. Vetting. squires are vetted by their actions and performances within their chosen roles and integration with the RK.

18. A vetted squire may be promoted to the rank of knight by a knight captain, after a review of their service record.

19. Knights are to be further vetted and trained by their knight captains in RK tactics and strategies,

Behavioral Standards, and Quality Assurance

20. The behavoral standards of RK citizens are listed bellow.

21. Ensuring these are met rests on the shoulders of every RK citizen. It rests on the shoulders of the leadership staff of knight captian and up to bring down disciplinary action if needed.

Quality Assurance

22. It is the duty of every RK citizen to check the quality of their tasks. To make sure every job is done to the best of your ability with out sacrificing the enjoyment of doing so.

23. It is above all important to get along and most of all have fun doing so. The highest quality we should strive for is the quality of enjoyment we have preforming our tasks and engaging with each other,

24. It is the duty of any rank of command from knight captain and up and including role leaders to ensure that quality is at its highest at all times.

Kingdom Social Responsibility

25. The RK actively supports social responsibility within the verse and the Kingdom.

26. The RK maintains the social responsibility of the civilian inhabitance within each jurisdiction we operate in.

Rules for the Use of Force

27. Although the core of the RK is industrial and transportation, we are a large military force as well.

28. Within areas where casualties to civilian and non-combatant life is abundant you are to fire if fired Apon.

29. In the event of known hostiles, you are to fire when you see fit or on the order of a commanding officer if present.

Working Standards

30. It is imperative there is more than adequate working conditions.

31. the RK is committed to ensuring the safest possible working environments for its citizens and any clients.

32. Military quick reaction forces (QRF) will be notified (if available) when economic or industrial work is being carried out. This team will be able to patrol the area if not be quickly deployed to assist in any combat scenarios.

Equal Opportunities

33. The RK is one people, no matter their walk of life. With this said everyone is red, everyone is united, and everyone has a equal opportunity.

34. Although we are one and equal the individual that is best suited for the role or task will be chosen.

Oversight and Compliance

35. Oversight is maintained by the royal council of the ranks of wing commander and above.

36. Each department has a clearly defined and responsible chain of command. The chain of command is responsible
for the day-to-day implementation of the rules and regulations of the RK. Citizens should follow the chain of command at all times when appropriate.

37. The chain of command exists to ensure the smooth operation of each mission. It ensures there is strong communication and understanding of said missions.

AZG and 171st GS Overview of conduct

38. The AZG and 171st GS are a internal and unlawful branch of the RK.

39. Members of the aforementioned crews do not have to adhere to many of the above rules, codes, and regulations.

40. These crews are best defined as pirates. They are cleared to employ any and all tactics that fall within the TOS of star citizen. They are greifers, pirates, jerks, and bullies.

41. They are to reserve their aggressive actions and shenanigans to those outside of the RK.

42. They are granted their own chat room in the RK discord for their members only which enjoys looser rules on chat behavior and discussion. However, when utilizing role rooms and general non-AZG //171st GS rooms they are to maintain the rules that apply to said rooms.

43. Members are to maintain discretion and claim to not be a part of the RK.

44. Members are to not wear RK uniforms when preforming pirate or greifing activates and instead utilize the AZG or 171st GS uniforms when applicable.
