We don’t follow the war—we end it. No hesitation. No mercy. Just fire, steel, and the will to stand where others fall. If you’re hearing this, you weren’t meant to disappear.

The Legion is waiting.

History

Founded 2953 UEE, in the aftermath of the Vanduul Wars, when the UEE’s military stretched too thin across shattered systems. A cadre of ex-Marine Phantoms—veterans from operations like the 6th Platoon—refused to fade into obscurity. They consolidated under a single banner, swearing allegiance only to the mission.

Operating from an abandoned UEE base on the fringe of Stanton, they specialized in “black-zone” operations—deep reconnaissance, high-value target takedowns, and rescue runs where UEE forces wouldn’t dare tread. Their Roman-inspired discipline, red-cloaked armor, and tight formations earned them the name Red Legion.

Over the next decade, they evolved into a covert PMC, contracted seldom—but always by UEE or loyalists—when a silent, brutal end was required. They’ve seen action in Pyro insurgencies, Nyx corporate wars, and Tevarin skirmishes, always deploying under the emblem of the Red Eagle.

Today, Legio Rubra Invicta remains unofficial, existing between UEE oversight and outright outlaw status. They answer only their own chain of command. When systems collapse and the UEE leaves darkness unchecked, they are the blade drawn in the void.

____|ORIGINS: Ghosts of Garron II|____

The Red Legion was born not out of honor—but disillusionment. In 2953, a classified UEE operation on Garron II went catastrophically wrong. A battalion of UEE Marines—call sign 13th Phantom Cohort—was ordered to stand down while local populations were systematically wiped out during a failed terraforming project, later buried by bureaucrats.

A core of survivors, led by Centurion Dax Vertrax, deserted the Corps. They disappeared into unregulated space, blacking out their IDs and repainting their armor in red—not for allegiance, but remembrance.

They called themselves Legio Rubra Invicta: The Unconquered Red Legion. A symbol of warriors who refuse to obey silence and cowardice. A name spoken only in encrypted channels and blood-soaked debris fields.

____|PHILOSOPHY: Blood without Applause|____

The Legion adopted a brutal, disciplined code—equal parts Roman stoicism and marine doctrine. They reject fame, refuse corporate contracts, and take no public credit for their actions. Their only loyalty is to the mission and each other.

They dont seek to be heroes.
They exist because someone must go where empires won’t.

Motto: Sanguinem pro Gloria. Mortem sine Fuga. (Blood for glory. Death without retreat.)

____|OPERATIONS: Shadows on the Fringe|____

>Operation Broken Crown (2956)
A Vanduul raiding fleet breached Ellis space under UEE radar. Before Fleet Command could respond, Red Legion gunships intercepted, eliminating the command vessel in zero-visibility asteroid field. Only a single Vanduul escape pod remained—to spread the word.

>Siege of Orison Ghosts (2958)
While Crusader Security failed to maintain control during Nine Tails occupation, a five-man Red Legion fireteam neutralized a key plasma turret battery from inside its maintenance tunnels, giving Crusader air superiority back by dawn.

>Retrieval Zero — Stanton IX (2961)
Red Legion extracted a civilian science team lost in the ruined UEE facility on Stanton IX, deep in unclaimed space. Conditions: No comms. No evac. No recognition. Entire team rescued. Legion casualties: classified.

____|STATUS: UEE Acknowledged… but unofficial|____

Though technically deserters, Red Legion units have been seen operating alongside UEE Marines under emergency circumstances. Quiet agreements are believed to exist with elements of Naval Intelligence. They are tolerated—but not trusted.

The UEE denies they exist.
Pirates fear them.
And civilians only hear about them when it’s too late.
