History Manifesto Charter

History

Before the Legion, there were the Crimson Reapers: veteran pilots who took the jobs no one else would, from mercenary contracts to deep-space runs to high-risk cargo. As the years and the scars piled up, the Reapers learned that the best fights are the ones you walk away from richer. They rebuilt themselves as the Crimson Legion, now known across the ‘verse as R.E.D. Legion: Retired. Extremely Dangerous. Today the Legion runs exploration, cargo, escort, salvage and mining ops, and it still takes the occasional contract that calls for real skill. Its members have stepped back from constant war, but none of them have forgotten how to fight.

Manifesto

We are a brotherhood of seasoned veterans. We have done our time in the fire, and now we build: charting the unknown, moving cargo, guarding convoys, stripping wrecks and pulling ore from the rock. We are a shield for the innocent and a problem for anyone who preys on them. We run on loyalty, professionalism and integrity, and we answer to each other, not to a rigid chain of command. Our work is quieter now, but we are no less dangerous.

Charter

I. Purpose. The R.E.D. Legion runs exploration, cargo, escort, salvage and mining operations. Members are free to run independent operations that reflect well on the Legion.
II. Membership. Members join by referral and are judged on their values and competence. New members advance from Recruit to Initiate to Operator to Enforcer as they prove themselves.
III. Conduct. Members are expected to be honest and disciplined. Breaking UEE law for profit, compromising operational security or damaging the Legion’s reputation is grounds for removal.
IV. Operations. The Council or an Enforcer plans and leads organized ops. Members share loot and profit fairly, according to the terms agreed before launch.
V. Leadership. A Council of experienced members governs the Legion. The Council answers to the Marshal.
VI. Amendments. The Council may amend this charter by majority vote, after the membership has reviewed the change.
