Red Legion History
The Red Legion was formally commissioned between 2230 and 2400, during TERRAGROUP’s shift to a Legion-based command structure. Created to counter escalating volatility in colonial and frontier systems, the Red Legion became the organization’s **primary military and tactical operations force**—a permanent, full-spectrum combat unit built for rapid deployment, decisive engagement, and infrastructure control.
Where the Black Legion operates unseen, the Red Legion delivers visible, overwhelming force: loud, lethal, and uncompromising.
Purpose and Formation
The Red Legion was born of necessity. As TERRAGROUP expanded across systems—supporting terraforming, colonization, and logistics—it became clear that outsourced security and passive defenses were inadequate against rising threats.
Founded on three core directives:
- Protection of Terragroup personnel, assets, and infrastructure
- Rapid, decisive response to external threats
- Military dominance across all environments
Composed of career combatants, tactical pilots, engineers, and specialists, the Red Legion developed into a fully integrated military machine—trained for vacuum, atmospheric, asteroid, and urban warfare with unmatched coordination.
Ascension During The Era of Trials (2400–2600)
As piracy, warlord factions, and system collapse threatened Terragroup operations, the Red Legion rose to dominance. During The Era of Trials, Red units were deployed to every major contested zone.
They earned their reputation through:
- Holding colony strongholds against prolonged sieges
- Leading ground assaults to repel invaders on frontier planets
- Reinforcing jump-point convoys under heavy occupation
- Retaking and fortifying lost infrastructure with surgical precision
Frequently mistaken for UEE military due to discipline and uniformity, the Red Legion remained fully under Terragroup’s independent command—answering to no external authority.
Modernization and Opportunistic Partnerships (2600–2955)
By 2600, the Red Legion had evolved into a **strategic deterrent**—capable of holding ground, reinforcing positions, and projecting Terragroup power in contested space.
While the UEE Navy focused on large-scale warfare, the Red Legion proved invaluable in:

Roles and Responsibilities
- Soldiers (FPS): Execute ground assaults, defensive operations, and rapid-response engagements to secure sites, eliminate opposition, and safeguard Terragroup personnel/assets.
- Bounty Hunters: Track, capture, or neutralize high-value targets for contracts, intel acquisition, or threat removal—leveraging negotiation, stealth, and combat as required.
- Combat Pilots: Dominate aerial and space combat, providing close air support, interdiction, dogfighting, and escort for high-priority convoys or strikes.
- Operatives (FPS): Conduct covert insertions, reconnaissance, sabotage, and precision strikes to gather intel, disrupt rivals, or achieve strategic goals with minimal exposure.

Membership Requirements
1. Demonstrate full loyalty to Terragroup and alignment with the Red Legion’s mission of tactical dominance.
2. Pass role-specific proficiency assessments and complete required combat training/simulations (soldier, bounty hunter, combat pilot, or operative).
3. Adhere to the Legion’s code of conduct, participate in ongoing drills/missions, and respond to Calls to Arms or high-priority operations as directed by Terragroup command.
Governance
The Red Legion operates under Terragroup’s central authority. Leadership is advanced through merit, proven combat results, and demonstrated loyalty to the organization. A senior command council, directly accountable to Terragroup headquarters, establishes operational directives, oversees missions, and ensures all activities advance the Empire’s strategic and tactical objectives.
Amendments
This charter may be amended by Terragroup central command or through proposals approved by the Legion’s senior council, ensuring the Red Legion remains lethal, adaptive, and fully aligned with evolving Terragroup priorities.
