The rich get richer while the people of the ‘verse suffer.

Our ancestors were sold on lies that expansion into the reaches of the ‘verse, into other nearby systems, would allow for a new way of life. They were promised prosperity, opportunity, growth, and a stake in the undiscovered riches that other worlds held.

“If only you would work just a little harder. Show up more. Be present. Be devoted.”

The corporations have sunk their teeth into every new world. Even the uninhabitable moons when there’s just a fraction of a profit to be made.

They continue to stand on the necks of the people, mining citizens of the ‘verse for productivity just like they stripped away the habitable surface of Hurston – until there’s nothing left but unwanted trash.

Left to die amidst the refuse of the next corporate initiative.

We wonder how our ancestors could have been so blind among the promises when we look back. Then we realized that we were still under that boot. Oppressed and forced to meet the demands of those in power.

When our founders had enough, they rallied a small group of like-minded men and women from all walks of life: contractors, mercenaries, medics, pilots, laborers, smugglers, miners, haulers, soldiers. Leaving behind the oppression of their corporate owners they vowed to fight back against the corporate rot that had infested the Stanton system.

From the highest corporate offices to the deepest shadows, we will take back what our ancestors lost.

We’ll steal what was once promised, and we’ll fight for what’s owed.
