Astera Frontier Corps is a multi-role crew operating on the edge of UEE space. We run cargo, mining, salvage, and security ops with teamwork and precision. AFC keeps the frontier moving—one haul, scan, and recovery at a time.
Astera Frontier Corps started long before we ever called it that. It was just a small group of us running cargo and scraping together a living on the edges of UEE-controlled space. We weren’t a company, or a crew, or anything official back then — just a handful of pilots who kept ending up on the same jobs and watching each other’s backs when things got rough.
Most of those early runs were done in ships that had no business being in half the places we took them. Old haulers held together with patchwork repairs, mining rigs that rattled themselves apart if you pushed them too hard, and salvagers that leaked atmosphere if you kicked the wrong panel. But we made it work. We had to.
Over time, we realized we were doing more than just showing up to the same job boards. We were flying together, splitting profits, warning each other about pirates in the next system, and helping pull each other out of bad situations. The frontier has a way of chewing people up when they’re alone — so we stopped being alone.
The name “Astera” came from a word one of our earliest members used to describe the way our little crew operated: like a steady light in a place where everything else felt unpredictable. It stuck. And once we had a name that actually meant something to us, the rest came naturally.
As we grew, so did the kind of work we took on. Mining ops turned into regular runs. Salvaging wrecks went from desperate side jobs to something we got good at. The more we flew together, the more people started calling on us when they needed a job done safely and without drama. Eventually, we realized we weren’t just a loose group anymore — we were an actual organization. That’s when we officially started calling ourselves the Astera Frontier Corps.
Today, we’re still doing what we always did: running the routes most folks avoid, pulling value out of places others overlook, and sticking together when the frontier gets ugly. We’re not trying to be heroes or build an empire. We’re just a hardworking crew that knows how to survive, profit, and keep each other flying.
And honestly? That’s exactly how we like it.
The frontier doesn’t hand out second chances. Out here, ships fail, routes change, and the only thing you can count on is the people flying beside you. Astera Frontier Corps was built on that simple truth: we survive and succeed because we do it together.
We’re not here to play government, act like a megacorp, or pretend we’re something we’re not. We’re working pilots who’ve spent enough time in the black to know that trust, communication, and steady hands matter more than any shiny badge or title.
Our purpose is straightforward:
• Move cargo that keeps the frontier alive.
• Pull resources from places others overlook.
• Recover what’s been lost and salvage what still has value.
• Stand our ground when trouble comes knocking.
We don’t run from hard jobs. We plan, we prepare, and we get them done. We take pride in flying smart, watching each other’s backs, and carrying ourselves with a professionalism that doesn’t need to be loud or flashy.
AFC isn’t about ego — it’s about respect.
Respect for the work.
Respect for the ships we fly.
Respect for the crew beside us.
We operate with integrity, we honor our agreements, and we never leave our own stranded in the void. When we commit to a job, we follow through. When we give our word, it means something.
This organization exists because a group of pilots decided the frontier could be more than a place where people fend for themselves. It could be a place where skill and teamwork actually matter. A place where good crews can still carve out a future without being swallowed by bigger, louder forces.
That’s Astera Frontier Corps.
Steady. Capable. Unified.
A guiding light in the dark places of the ’verse.
And as long as we fly under this banner, we’ll continue to hold that line — one haul, one operation, and one frontier at a time.
