History

Words from the Master, “I created this organization in 2945 for those like myself who were and are treated as outcasts, ostracized by those who considered themselves “normal”. My parents were never married; in fact, they lived so far apart I was always conflicted in my choices of who to be with and when. Sometimes I was used against the other parent. I was mocked and bullied through school for being clumsy, small, and poor so I know the humility and anger it causes. I want to create a group that appeals to others like me who want to feel like they belong somewhere that accepts what makes them unique and cherishes them for it.”

As of the year 2949 we have five members.

Manifesto

There are many out there who want to be part of a group, but feel like they are outcasts that no one wants around, and don’t want to enter any group as an unimportant grunt who has to take orders and get yelled at from someone they don’t even know and slowly earn respect and status. At Stars you are automatically respected as an individual and important guild member. We want to know what makes you unique and help foster that so you grow as a person and player. The Guild is all about helping people for the better, though it is not expected that everyone be a white knight it is expected that your performances not negatively affect the reputation of The Guild, and we strive to further the common good. Every Star is encouraged to complete missions to better themselves and grow The Guild. The more they are trusted, and donate to the guild treasury, they will gain rank, status, and prestige within The Guild, but the two things that matter the most are; bettering yourself and defending The Guild

Core values: Being unique, Being a friend, Defending The Guild

Vision: To be an elite, respected, and friendly guild

Mission: Cultivate what makes our members unique and special so Stars is a family that members can feel safe and valued in.

Charter

- Only The Master has official directive authority, but makes suggestions usually, and will only make mandates in special cases, such as, war. The Master; declares war, and assigns important quests that will further the interests and reputation of the guild. -The Master assigns ranks. - Fleets can assemble for a war to avenge a death, or repel a threat. However, no other Stars member has authority to force other crews to fight with/for them. EVERYTHING IS VOLUNTARY. -Judges will investigate members accused of griefing, pirating, or other violent actions without provocation, or reasonable cause, and are the final authority on these matters. The Master is the only one with authority to overrule. Think of the guild as neutral good. Stars act in a way that builds trust from other good peoples and Orgs. -Judges will need to show the Master their evidence, and if deemed satisfactory will make their ruling. -The Master will dispense sensitive and high value missions, such as, saboteur, espionage, assassination, etc. - For the role of Scribe and Prophet a player must have at least the rank of ‘Nova’ and will be chosen from among the judges. - Ranks are as follows:
  • Dweller – Someone playing with the guild, but not a part of it.
  • Star – Donates 1,000 UEC to the guild. Takes on level 1 missions.
  • Nova – Has donated 100,000 UEC to the guild treasury, spent a month with the Guild, and proven competent as a soldier and pilot. Given level 2 missions from Master.
  • Super Nova – Proven commander that can lead an armada, has donated 500,000 UEC to the guild treasury, and spent 6 months with the Guild. Given level 3 missions from Master.
  • Commander – Commands their own ship
  • Singularity – The Guild’s elite pilots and soldiers chosen by the Master for special missions. Will command in special circumstances, and only answer to the Master.
