As the galaxy’s most awesome employment agency, Rumor Interstellar provides cool peeps like you with resources for developing their career skills as well as opportunities to showcase them through short and long term contracts from other organizations and astrocrats with lots of money.
History
Rumor’s founder, Titus, grew up a child of the Spacey Boomer generation and spent much of his early life listening to all the boomers talking about how they got where they were all by themselves and they ‘didn’t ask for no help from nobody’. Tired of this rhetoric, he began working on plans for an organization that would provide careers and contracts for people who had the right work ethic but just didn’t know where to look. Those plans evolved into what is now Rumor Interstellar.
Rumor Interstellar has over 10 years of experience in helping line up the right people with the right contracts. You ever hear of the famous explorer Trey Suno Dohs? Rumor Interstellar helped him get his first job as a junior science officer! Berg Graber, CIO of one of the galaxies largest mining corporations, got his job at that company through Rumor Interstellar.
With results like these, it’s no wonder an RMR Master’s certification has an almost legendary status among citizens and employers alike.
Manifesto
Rumor’s purpose is to provide a place for citizens to learn trades and use these skills to either work on one-off jobs or long-term contracts. We also intend to have org-owned vessels and resources available for members to work as they amass enough wealth to purchase their own equipment. RMR rank is essentially a certification of excellence and trustworthiness.
Membership in other organizations is allowed and even encouraged. If you join a criminal organization, however, we will be forced to terminate your membership for the sake of reputation.
Charter
- When working in a contract or position acquired through Rumor Interstellar, contractors should at all times maintain proper, law-abiding behavior conducive to maintaining the combined reputation of all Rumor Interstellar members.
- When under contract representing Rumor Interstellar, contractors should first complete said contract before seeking employment through other avenues.
- Be aware and respectful of other members’ needs, particularly when it comes to sharing organizational resources.
- Have fun and be safe!
