Who We Are:
Ranger Corps is a guild of like-minded gamers from all walks of like and age ranges. Veterans of the military, civilians with no military background, and anything in between. Our youngest member is 17 and our eldest is 65.
What is Ranger Corps?
Ranger Corps is a multi-gaming guild that plays with integrity, respecting our members, living in-game by a code of honor. Each member is a quality individual bringing their own experiences and personality to the guild which adds to the overall personality of the guild. Even when adventuring alone, you are never truly alone.
Our Philosophies:
Each and every Ranger lives and plays in-game by a common ethos: You mess with one of us; you deal with all of us. Rangers are selected based on their commitment to the guild. We protect one another whether the member in need is in the right or wrong. If in the wrong, we deal with it after the need is met via peer-staffed disciplinary board if warranted.
When the call for assistance is placed, we expect our members to come to that member’s aid with the knowledge the same enthusiasm will apply to you when you call for assistance.
Our members join us because they know that while we play hard and can, at times, appear elitest and hardcore; we believe that real life comes first. A game is just that: a game. It is not a second job.
We do not judge our members on their particular lifestyle. All Rangers are treated with equality and respect. This is directly reflected in our Teamspeak-3 voice server.
We tailor our conversation and language in Teamspeak-3 in such a way as to remain family-friendly. We realize that some do not use a headset and members may have young ones about while playing. We also host a couple specific mature channels for those who cannot control their language and content.
Play Times:
Because our members come from all corners of the world, we have members on at all times, 24×7. Someone can always be found in Teamspeak-3 or in game. Some members play for hours and some play for an hour or two. There is no set play times for members, nor is it expected.
What Areas of Interest Will We Support?
Ranger Corps will support all areas of interest in Star Citizen. You paid to play the game your way, not have it dictated by an organization.
We cannot confirm nor deny that some members partake in pirating. While we support our members, we do not support outright pirating unless that pirating is aimed at pirate organizations. See our leadership team for more details.
How is Ranger Corps Structured?
The Corps is a military organization and as such, is structured to reflect that.

PHILOSPHY
We strive to maintain a level of integrity and honorable conduct in and out of game in such a way as to increase our reputation in positive ways. OUR MISSION
To create a casual social environment that is fun and rewarding in-game. Where members can explore the different areas of focus of the game whether solo, in small groups, or world events as a guild/nation. An environment that fosters teamwork and inspires each member’s sense of adventure and creativity.
MEMBERSHIP
New members are sponsored by members in good standing. Sponsors are held accountable for their sponsored members and for ensuring the new member is integrated into the guild’s social and cultural environment.
Any member who recommends a new member will automatically be listed as that new members sponsor. This means the sponsoring member vouches for the new member.

DISPUTES
Disputes between two members will be addressed on the spot in a manner befitting a Ranger. Disputes unable to be resolved on the spot will be referred to the Council of Advisors for ruling. All dispute decisions are final and will not be pursued further. We are all adults and as such should behave accordingly.
In disputes where non-Rangers are involved, we should support our fellow Rangers.
If misconduct has occurred by a Ranger, apologize on the guilds behalf. The offending Ranger will be admonished in private and not in front of the non-Ranger. This may include the offending Ranger being brought before a disciplinary committee.
If the misconduct is on the part of a non-Ranger, try to resolve the issue in a mature and respectful manner, remembering that you are an ambassador of our guild.
Be sure to report the event to a guild officer.
The Council of Advisors may assign a Ranger Officer for conflict resolution or formal diplomatic action, if needed.

LOOT RULES
A loot rules for groups will be announced when the group forms. In the event of a Raid, a “Need Before Greed” policy will be the standard faire. This will negate the rolling for gear you cannot use on your immediate character.
For guild sponsored events (not including Raids), the group leader will be set as Loot Master so loot can be used by the guild and deposited in the guild bank.
If you need or desire an item recovered during a guild sponsored event, you may request the item as long as it is an immediate use situation and not used to sell or auction.
“Bind on Pickup” items must be rolled for immediately and will not be looted by the Loot Master for obvious reasons.
ALTERNATE CHARACTERS
Alts, by definition, will be allowed in guild. These characters will be identified and connected to your main character. Alts can only posses the rank of Ranger, and cannot progress through the ranks.
DISCIPLINARY ACTIONS
Disciplinary actions are a process by which members of Ranger Corps may have acted inappropriately or conducted themselves in a manner not in keeping with our Values or Code of Conduct.
Disciplinary action is recommended by any NCO or Officer rank. The recommendation is then carried forward to the council where they will deliberate on the issue.
If a disciplinary hearing is called for, it will not be a public affair. All Disciplinary Committee Hearings will be private and it may require that those involved or witnessing members be called to testify. After hearing all evidence and testimony, the committee will vote on their verdict of innocence or guilt. At that time an appropriate level of discipline will be decided upon by the Council. Discipline may include the following in all or part, depending on the infraction.
•Verbal admonishment
•Reduction in rank (no more than 2 ranks)
•Reparations to those injured (depending on the issue, reparations could be an apology, recovery of resources or credits, return of equipment or supplies)
•Temporary Suspension of Guild privileges (length of time will be communicated at the time of decision)
