History
“Who are the Rock Raiders?”
After acquiring a suitable vessel and equipping it with the latest mining equipment, we set out in 2929 to make our fortune among the stars. By an act of fate, our ship and crew were transported to another galaxy via a rift in space-time. With both cunning and skill, we managed to not only overcome danger and find our way back, but also score a substantial haul in the process. Through smart investments and precautionary planning, we seek to replicate our previous success while avoiding any unplanned contingencies.
Manifesto
“So you’re part of the Mining Guild, then?”
No, not actually. Our operation is small enough not to be noticed, which is advantageous for everybody since our customers are anxious to avoid attracting attention to themselves.
“How much does the job pay?”
Payment is determined by the size of the haul and is ultimately contingent upon profit. A portion of the profits go to the corporation to cover licensing fees, maintenance, equipment, expansion, refuel, refit, etc. The remainder is then divided among the crew (usually as a set percentage) with the possibility of a bonus for exceptional work.
