History

Ravenswatch got their start in 2941 when co-founder Lumiaris began working on a small-scale mining operation finding small gems and minerals in various caves throughout Microtech.

After saving for 4 years, Lumiaris was able to purchase Ravenswatch’s first ship capable of interplanetary travel in 2945 and began exploring the Stanton system for more suitable mining claims.

In 2946 Ravneswatch was officially formed after Lumiaris teamed up with security expert Jackhigh. Together, they expanded the operation to Stanton’s Aaron Belt and Crusader’s moons Delamar and Yela.

In 2948, Ravenswatch acquired a new ship capable of constructing outposts and decided to expand their operations into the Pyro system. Shortly after arriving, they began construction of a mining
settlement on Pyro III which, for a time, was kept intentionally small to stay out of view of the various piracy organizations in the system. Ravenswatch largly aimed to remain out of the chaos and
conflict in the Pyro system by keeping their head down and focusing on mining, generally taking the safest route in and our of the system.

In 2950, after a couple years of expansion and close calls, an unknown organization made contact with the Ravenswatch Council to broker a deal of cooperation where we were to supply their organization
with minerals in return for protection throughout the Pyro system. With the promise of better mining claims, after several months of deliberation and negotiation, it was agreed that Ravenswatch would be
become the industrial wing of this organization. With the help of new found friends, Jackhigh and Lumiaris were able to achieve new-found prosperity in Pyro by beginning to research new methods of
refining raw materials.

Early in 2954, rumors began to circle that Lumiaris and Jackhigh, once known for their neutrality in business dealings, were providing support to pirates within the Pyro system and were placed on a
no-transit list to Stanton. Cut-off from their home worlds, the founding members of Ravenswatch hired a private investigator to uncover the source of these rumors. What they uncovered is that a pocket
of their parent organization had been secretly conducting piracy raids throughout Pyro and had recently expanded them to Stanton causing security to take notice.

Later in 2954, after several years of serving as an industrial wing for a now known pirate organization, Lumiaris and Jackhigh decided they no longer could support the piracy operations and broke ties
with them. They met with ForsakenCaptain, a friend of a friend who had also been experimenting with scientific research to improve the quality of industrial output and together, decided to recharter
themselves as an independent organization focused on industrial research and scientific endeavors that benefit humanity.

Today, Ravenswatch continues to build its presence in Pyro and has bolstered its security division under Sentinel Jackhigh to ensure that our organization will remain independent in the future. Steward ForsakenCaptain
has began research operations at an undisclosed location within the Pyro system, and has dispatched exploration teams to all known neighboring systems in search for a suitable location to construct their
new research lab. Sovereign Lumiaris serves to guide the organization and maintain diplomatic ties with the UEE and other organizations. Together the three founders serve as the Ravenswatch Council.
