The Founder

Adam Wincroft, like many others entered the Tevarin War with enthusiasm. His father, a wealthy Billionaire involved in arms manufacturing had used his economic and political connections to ensure Adam was given an excellent position with chances of rapid promotion, but things did not work out the way Donald Wincroft expected. After only a few months of combat, suffering from PTSD and sickened at what he had witnessed the UEC engines of War do to the Tevarin homeworld in the name of “Civilisation” he merely served and went through the motions, trying to blot out the moments between sleep, until the terms of his service had expired. His service thankfully came to an end after a successful Tevarin attack crippled the “Bremen” Cruiser he served on, and Adam was injured, though he managed to evacuate on time.

As he observed the vessel drift away, flames bursting through the hull, he secretly shared the satisfaction the Tavarin must have felt as they watched the vessel implode. It seemed a fitting end to a vessel which itself had unleashed such monstrous destruction upon the Tevarin Homeworld.

After his service term was over, he was part of the occupying force that mechanically serviced military ships. It was here that he was to experience a moment of truth. Things changed for Adam after he witnessed a Salvage machine consuming the Bremen. He watched a gaping claw rip into its hull and tear it into pieces, as its parts were gorged upon. As he observed the process, unlike many of his fellow officers, who could not bear to watch, Adam reveled in the destruction, and that evening, something happened that made him revisit that moment again and again. He slept. Peacefully. When he awoke, he felt he had reclaimed a small part of his humanity. Adam’s thoughts turned to the many derelict vessels ships in space that deserved a similar fate…

The Aran Betrayal

A year later, he had formed a business partnership with Andre Duran, a financier and commercial backer and had grown the company to a quite comfortable turn around, who took on an increasing role in the business, which was named the Aran Consortium. The relationship broke down however, and to his chagrin, he faced a hostile takeover from the board, headed by a byzantine Duran who framed him for corruption and theft, and promptly ejected him from his position, defrauding him of the company assets, his good name and his future.

Formation of SALVAGE INDUSTRIAL

For several years, Adam blamed himself, but ultimately determined that he needed to accept responsibility for giving a jerk such responsibilities to start with. He vowed that from that point on, responsibility would be a core tenet in his enterprises. He accepted his inheritance from his father Donald Wincroft in a final gamble to start over, this time on his terms and formed SALVAGE INDUSTRIAL Industrial GmbH.

It paid off, with him demanding anyone of responsibility first vowing loyalty by means of “the oath” to “the family” and needing to swear in anyone they wanted to join. Adam continued to stress the importance of honor and one’s word in all matters, and by the time of his death was known as “the father” due to his warmth for his employees, the dignity with which he treated them, his kindness towards his customers, which earned him their friendship and loyalty. SALVAGE INDUSTRIAL, at the time of his death was among the most respected of Salvage groups.

Justice, perfect Justice..

His grandson, Andrew Wincroft further had the satisfaction of seeing the Aran Consortium fall to infighting, insider trading and sex scandals. Andrew restored the dignity of SALVAGE INDUSTRIAL by being sure to be the highest bidder in taking over assets of the Aran Consortium when it entered into receivership and cost be damned scrapped every ship, office and outpost of the consortium, and sold the reclaimed metal waste to a Tevarin Civil Engineering firm which won a UEC bid to upgrade the Tevarin sewage system. Though Andrew took SALVAGE INDUSTRIAL to the edge, he declared it was his right to “finish what his forefathers had started” in one of the longest corporate feuds in history.

Today’s SALVAGE INDUSTRIAL and the recovery of the Grieg Carrier

By 2942, after almost four centuries of commitment to the principles of Adam Wincroft, SALVAGE INDUSTRIAL is still in the hands of family, with Jethro “Echo Seven” at the helm inheriting a debt ridden and uninspiring enterprise. With hard work and attention to management systems training and quality management, SALVAGE INDUSTRIAL’s fortunes have turned.

Today, SALVAGE INDUSTRIAL steps up to the proud tradition of complete integrity, responsibility and a client focus, by offering Salvage, Mapping, Exploration, Logistics, Transport and Refining capabilities both as a corporate entity and for individuals to hire the equipment and try thier own hand at it, many coming back making a fortune from the expeditions with zero investment. SALVAGE INDUSTRIAL was the first to, and still allows customers to borrow vessels at no upfront costs and to simply split the finds. This policy, and the long history of integrity that he has demonstrated see SALVAGE INDUSTRIAL Reclamations as the “go to” organsation for any official or private Salvage operation.

Misc Starfarer – The Starfarer is a brilliant option for those that need to fuel a fleet or have significant liquid storage and transport requirements.
Drake Caterpillar – The Hiddukel is a capable transport vessel, which can be outfitted with a wide range of modules to fit almost any role, both legitimate and illegitimate. The captain is responsible for ensuring its use is strictly within the limits of UEE law.
Alpha Wing – This medium fighter wing of two SuperHornets are a massive deterrent to any pirate plans to ruin your day.
Beta Wing – This light fighter wing of two Gladius light fighters are ideal escorts for deep space journeys or areas where only light resistance is expected.
