History
For an organization focused solely on the present score and the future mandate, the past is merely a ledger of debts owed. Saturn’s Maw is a new force in the ‘verse, but our structure and discipline are paramount.
The truth of the Maw does not lie in a founding document or a public charter, but in the calculated convergence of four distinct people. The highest echelon of our organization, The Curia Saturni, is run by individuals whose backgrounds are as varied and wide as the universe they now seek to exploit. Some share common scars from the same ruthless corners of space, while others were drawn from completely disparate sectors and specialties.
The one binding force was the realization that their combined skills were wasted on small, isolated contracts. They recognized a shared truth: profit is the only law.
They met for a shared reason, which remains sealed within the Curia, and decided the time for quiet desperation was over. They would no longer serve others; they would build the ultimate, self-serving machine. Saturn’s Maw is that machine—a perfect crew assembled to execute contracts with unmatched efficiency and extract the maximum possible value from a desperate galaxy.
While our official history is short, the history of those who command us stretches back into shadows we do not publicly explore. You will learn the true nature of The Curia Saturni only by proving your worth and working the contracts they hand down.
Manifesto
Our primary focus is simple: Mercenary Freelancing and Bounty Hunting (& our fair share of Smuggling). Whether it is a full-scale assault, a corporate espionage job, a close-quarters extraction, or the acquisition of a high-value target (dead or alive), we ask no questions so long as the funds are verified. Every contract is a debt the galaxy owes us, and we are the collectors. Between our high-stakes operations, the Maw sustains itself through efficient Industry in multiple avenues, and deep-space Salvage operations — we treat every venture, from hunting down a criminal to cargo hauling, to stripping a derelict wreck, with the same cold, professional eye for maximizing profit.
The pursuit of the contract is all-consuming, and when the Mandate is active, we are full-spectrum intensity. The Maw demands perfection. Every operator is expected to relentlessly hone their chosen specialization—be it flight combat, hacking, ground infiltration, or logistics—to ensure mission success is never left to chance. We push ourselves and our equipment to the absolute limit because our reputation, and our profit margin, depend on being the best in the ‘verse.
Yet, the life of a mercenary is not a constant, grinding war. We understand that sharpness requires respite. When the contracts are fulfilled and the dust settles, we prioritize building comradeship and shared adventure. Our downtime is spent running casual excursions, organizing competitive drills, or simply hanging together to enjoy the spoils of our ruthless trade. The bond forged in the black void is what keeps the Maw running, ensuring that when the alert sounds, we move as one inescapable force.
Charter
The following doctrines govern membership within the Maw. Compliance is mandatory for all members, from Recruit to The Curia Saturni.
The Chain of Command
Our structure is military-functional and non-negotiable in the field. Advancement is earned through performance, loyalty, and proven skill in profitable operations.

I Recruit - Initiation and proving period / Max role for Affiliates
II Field Operative – Core operational staff, deployed on all missions.
III Veteran - Experienced specialists, leading difficult extractions.
IV Squad Leader - First level Officer Rank – Commands operational fireteams in the field.
V Section Chief - Senior command, managing high-level logistics and financial sections.
VI The Curia Saturni - The Supreme Leadership Council.
Operational Presence & Communication
We do not demand commitment that interferes with real life. We’d just like to see members seek us out for operations, training, and camaraderie when they are actively playing.
Our Discord server is the central communication hub for all members. This is used for mission planning, general communications, and building the essential bonds of the Maw. While we don’t demand constant presence, communication for operations will always occur here.
Loyalty is measured by reliability and adherence to the Mandate.
We understand members may have other affiliations. However, to advance beyond the rank of Recruit (I), the Maw must be set as your Main Organization (Primary Affiliation) within the game. Those who remain only Affiliated will hold the rank of Recruit indefinitely.
Role-Play Welcome: While not a requirement, we foster a narrative-driven environment and encourage members to embrace the dark, ruthless lore of the Maw to push meaningful in-game storytelling.
This Charter establishes a clear path for dedicated members while confirming the mercenary professionalism of Saturn’s Maw.
